Yeah at this point I'm just ready to hear something; good news/bad news just tell me something. I have already been through FPEB and VARR so this should be it (hopefully).

Indeed, that's totally and comprehensively fair! :(

To that extent, as of 24 Feb 14, I have a total of 524 calendar days within the DoD IDES process which includes two FPEB's and one VARR request submittal! :(+:(

As such, I am currently at 50+ days and counting (as of 24 Feb 14) while still awaiting my military disability retirement orders! :(+:( = getting :mad:er!

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

I wish I could help. Every case does vary, I have signed my 199 yet I'm still waiting to finish the process. I am at 270 days total. On a good note it does "seem" that the VA is picking up the speed a bit. Good luck and hang in there.

Indeed, hopefully, the DoD IDES process shall terminate soon upon our forthcoming receipt of military disability retirement/separation orders!

I got my PEBLO to contact the PEB on Friday and they told us that the priority right now is cases over 180 days. So anyone in that group should see something relatively soon

Hmm, indeed interesting information from the PEB as the DoVA also continues to battle their backlog of disability claims unfortunately! :(

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

That 180 days timeframe is probably after the PEB sent out the unfit memo and requested unfit ratings from the VA... I'm guessing.

It's unbelievable how they can string someone out with this process and I wish the best for all. It seemed up to now that transpoc was moving at a relatively fast rate. Now it is almost nothing. I am hoping that everything gets back to normal.

Well I just got the call that my DA 199 is in!!! Thats the good news…. The bad news is that because my med board started before I was in the WTU I will have to submit a VARR because they are missing a few of my diagnoses.

Does anyone know if it is ok to do that through your PEBLO??? Or should I try to see the MEB lawyer?

Still no word on DA199, ratings memo sent to PEB on the 12th. Hoping to get a call this afternoon.

I think TRANSPOC is still consistently taking 5-10 days. What varies significantly is how fast the transition points churns out the orders.

Does anyone have an example of the VARR request memo???

Talk to my VSO today. She told me that my claim is with the DRO in Seattle waiting to get looked at. No clue why a DRO would have it. FML

I hope this is the case. I signed my 199 on the 11th. This wait sucks

PENDING DECISION APPROVAL FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS NOW I WISH THEY WOULD JUST HURRY UP AND APROVE IT ALLREADY SO I CAN SEE THE RATINGS. I WAS PATIENT UNTIL LAST WEEK WHEN IT JUMPED FROM GATHERING EVIDENCE TO PENDING DECISION APPROVAL

Indeed, I agree 100% for sure! ;)

As such, it seems like when we finally get to a point within the DoD IDES process that was moving at lightning speed for most folks...a turtle was placed in front of us to significantly slow down the DoD IDES process!

Hmm, my my my, what kind of unfortunate luck is that for all of us?

3 weeks for pending approval.... I think they all just decided to take a break for a couple of weeks. Or maybe they are spying on us at this site. If they know we are impatient they just make us wait longer.

I talked to someone at the retierment office on post and was informed that the office in Virginia was closed for a couple days due to weather, not to mention the closing for system maintenance and you throw in the president day 4 day weekend. Frustration is a understatement.

This process sucks but you are moving through everything really fast considering I started 4-5 months before you and you are pretty much caught up to me. From pending decision to singing my 199 was about a week give or take a few days. Also been waiting for my SSDI so you are in a good spot. Hell Warrior644 has been waiting well over 500 days.

YEAH I KNOW ITS BEEN MOVING REALLY FAST FOR ME. THATS WHY I HATE COMING ON HERE AND COMPLAINING BECAUSE I KNOW ALOT OF PEOPLE HAVE BEEN WAITING TEN TIMES LONGER. I JUST CANT HELP THE ANXIOUSNESS RIGHT NOW WITH IT STARTING TO MOVE ALONG AND THEN STOP I AM JUST READY TO GET OUT OF THIS DAMN RECRUITING OFFICE.

No worries on complaining I do it all the time. Could be worse could be stuck in fort Irwin like me. It is a horrible purgatory for us all. I have a good friend that received his unfit memo in January and they are already rating his claim and I finished my appointments 6 months before he did. It's a messed up system that's for sure. Hopefully that your 199 comes back with the ratings you deserve.

I will take any ratings at this point. I just need to get out of Army Reserves. They are trying to send me on missions. I told them I am pending loss and they said they don't care. My options are go on mission or let them "U" me out of army so I get unsatisfactory. GREAT LEADERS I have.
