I can see that... I hate it , sadly I've had 5-6 friend's all get their 199s within 90-120 days. So you can all imagine my frustration when that came and went. I hope everyone gets their 199s quickly this crap is torture.

Well it's like you sign 199 that u have been waitin on this whole time now you gotta wait for transpoc so stupid

If I have to wait 120 days for transpoc I will be way over 400 days. I hit 295 days here soon. This system is unbelievably flawed. How hard would it be to send your orders with your 199? If you accept the 199 you get your orders if you appeal then you don't get them. Its been over 8 months seance my unfitting memo so the army new I would be getting out eventually.

Ha you would think it would all be so easy right, but not they have to complicate it all. Either way there's no way you'll wait 120 days for transproc. I give it 4 weeks tops, then another 4 weeks to get orders after you turn in the paperwork

I am around 107 days wainting on VA ratings at Ft Campbell. Just got a call from my PEBLO. She informed me the VA completed my proposed ratings two days ago. She said I should have my paperwork in the next week or two. Its going to be a long two weeks!
How many conditions did you have if you don't mind me asking? I'm at Ft.Campbell as well, the MEB part was done in less than a month. I only have 1 referred condition which is chondroplasty w/residual pain in right knee, then 2 claimed conditions for hearing loss. At 82 days for ratings, hoping i hear something

pm'ed

I am over 550 days in the process. My ratings are complete, but no DA199. I am really hoping it will come in this week. I am out of patience.

Yeah at this point I'm just ready to hear something; good news/bad news just tell me something. I have already been through FPEB and VARR so this should be it (hopefully).

So I was found unfit 23 Sep 13 I am currently at 154 days how much longer does anyone think it might take
1 unfit item for DOD and below is the VA ones
Contentions: facet arthropathy, lumbar spine (New), unstable pelvis, also claimed as pelvis out of alignment (New), residuals of hip flexor strain, right (New), bilateral hip pain, secondary to unstable pelvis (New), abnormal gait, secondary to unstable pelvis (New), bilateral achilles tendonitis (New), patellofemoral syndrome, right knee (New), residuals of right great toe condition (New), high blood pressure (New), bilateral plantar fasciitis (New), bilateral talipus cavus (New), tenosynovitis, bilateral feet (New), recurring pharyngitis (New), residuals of torn vastus laterlis (New), post traumatic stress disorder with anxiety disorder and insomnia (New), sleep apnea (New), tinnitus, bilateral (New), bilateral hearing loss (New), neck pain, secondary to lumbar spine (New), bilateral shoulder pain, secondary to lumbar spine (New), bilateral numbness in lower extremities, secondary to lumbar spine (New), headaches (New), blurred vision (New), vertigo (New)

If anyone could help would be great

I'm currently active duty army. My MEB was initiated on 5 Jul 13. I was found unfit on 20 Sep 13 for 1 condition, and 14 other claimed. Status in eBenefits changed to Prep for Decision on 20 Feb, then to Pending Decision Approval on the same day. I have a few questions that I'm hoping somebody can answer for me:

Once the case reaches the Pending Decision Approval status, does this mean that proposed ratings have been completed? How long does it typically take for a case to go to the next status?
Is the next step receipt of the DA199 by the PEBLO?
Once the DA199 is signed by the SM, how long does it take for orders to be cut?
Once the SM gets their orders, how long do they have to clear post?
When does the "90 day clock" start? Is it once the DA199 is signed by the SM or does it start once the SM's orders are cut?

Any help would be appreciated...thank you.

I wish I could help. Every case does vary, I have signed my 199 yet I'm still waiting to finish the process. I am at 270 days total. On a good note it does "seem" that the VA is picking up the speed a bit. Good luck and hang in there.

Spouse received and reviewed proposed ratings. He has not signed to accept, pending review by JAG as a "make sure it is all correct" measure. Unless JAG finds a specific reason to appeal he intends to accept.

70% Army PDR/ 100% VA proposed
eligible SMC
unclear if eligible for CRSC

SSDI attorney in office I work for told him to come in after JAG appt to see if that is his next intended step.

Indeed, good deal and congratulations! :)

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

Signed my DAForm199 this morning!! 100% VA and 90% DOD

It took the VA 225 days for my proposed ratings

Congratulations on the official acceptance of your DA Form 199! :)

As such, you are now an elite member of the "pre-separation" DoD IDES family awaiting military disability retirement orders! ;)

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

I thought this process was relatively quick. I am hoping next week I hear something back. Next will be two weeks.

Ya I signed my 199 almost two weeks ago waiting for transpoc really hope I hear something soon

As did I albeit I am now at 50+ days and counting while still awaiting for my military disability retirement orders! :(

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

I got my PEBLO to contact the PEB on Friday and they told us that the priority right now is cases over 180 days. So anyone in that group should see something relatively soon

That sucks especially for those who have 60 days vaca saved my peblo said that your minty days starts as soon as you sign 199 and that she has seen people get orders within a week

Hmm, could you clarify and/or validate the statement from your PEBLO? BTW, what are minty days?

To that extent, I received feedback completely to the contrary from my PEBLO and military RSO?

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!
