So I just spoke to my contact Rep for my PEBLO. They had a conference call this morning with the DoVA. THe subject of this conference call was that the VA had sent the PEB some 300 packets for soldier's ratings but the PEB is saying that they never recieved any of those said packets. So now its a blame game of "yes we sent those packets" and no" well we never recieved them" and again we are being punished for other peoples mistakes.

All the packages got intercepted by the NSA and then the makers of healthcare.gov are using them as page templates for the broken website. Point is that it doesn't matter who lost them but that they are lost and that they need to find out where they went because of the possible breach of HIPPA and Privacy act info. When you upload something to the internet it goes somewhere even if it's not to the intended place.
Is this really a suprise? The branches within the DoD can't work together half of the time and we all expect them to play nice with the already dysfunctional VA. This is a bad marriage and all of us, the kids, are indeed suffering as you said.

So I finally received information from the VA today. This is the first news in months. Now what does this mean? My Peblo thinks that the VA is trying to up my percentages on some of my claims. This is long winded post. Here is what the peblo printed out for me. Now where i have some questions are my ratings finish besides these four conditions. I had around 28 total conditions claimed and one unfitting. Im am hoping that the MSC will get back to them ASAP and I am out before Christmas.
So all the exams are inadequate on 11/20/13 and days in suspense are 15

Exam type spine
Inadequate Reason: The examiner provides a diagnosis of cervical spine intervertebral disc syndrome with degenerative joint disease and cervical spine strain. The examiner provided findings of muscle spasm and guarding. Please clarify if there is a spasm or guarding severe enough to result in an altered gait or spinal contour for the cervical spine.

Exam type: Genitourinary Examination
Inadequate Reason: the examiner notes urinary urgency as secondary to traumatic brain injury, noting absorbent pads are not necessary. Please clarify the urinary frequency for daytime voiding and nighttime voiding.

So today I called my vso(VFW they suck) and they told me my file is in D.C. because I have an appeal in for PTSD prior to my start of IDES. Then I call 1800 number and they tell me same shit. Then I call PEBLO and she don't know what the hell is going on. Then I call my MSC and of course he never answers or calls back. So pretty much I am just screwed and my packet is god knows where. PEBLO says it in Seattle, VA says it in D.C. Coming up on 5 years total with this PTSD claim and over 190 days waiting on IDES ratings that don't even have my file. About to snizap!
Hmm, it seems that your DoVA C&P Examination clinician(s) didn't perform an accurate and thorough job with the results and a lot of contradiction now exists.
To that extent, the DoVA D-RAS is awaiting feedback from your DoVA C&P Examination clinician(s) at this point in time.
Hopefully, the DoVA C&P Examination clinician(s) shall respond back to the DoVA D-RAS within the requested 15 day suspense time.

I am hoping that they are just looking for certain verbiage for each condition. If you look at it they have the condition which was not on my narsum, and a secondary condition that either is added to the said condition or the condition just stays the the same. I hope its this simple and just moves on. My Peblo said I will not have to do any more appointments. I am just wondering if all the other conditions are finished and they are just waiting for clarification on these four conditions and ill be done before Christmas.
You would have to have rating back atleast by end of next week to be home by Christmas
Ok so apparently my shit is in D.C. That's what MSC said. So now I have to wait for my appeal to be done (which is stupid because they can clearly see I have been diagnosed with ptsd) in order to finish IDES process. Which could take yearssssssssss! So the MSC say he is gonna talk to his boss and try to expedite the appeal so it can get back to IDES. We all know this is not gonna happen. At least I don't have to hawk eye CMS, EBEN, or the forums anymore. FML
Indeed, there should not be any additional DoVA C&P Examination appointments; just clarification of facts from the DoVA C&P Examination clinician(s) on those four medical conditions.
To that extent, I would tend to believe that your other medical conditions are completed at this point in time but your DoD IDES case file can't be finalized until resolution of the aforementioned inquiry by the DoVA D-RAS in my opinion.

Last week my eBenefits status changed to "Pending Decision Approval" I called the PEBLO and was told that he should be calling me in a week or two. I haven't been able to log into eBenefits since last Friday and when I did today the status says "Gathering of Evidence" again. Is that normal or does that mean that they need something else from me? I was hoping it would be in preparation for notification when I logged back in.

I would write a letter to you Congressman and senator. I was going do this today if I didn't hear anything which I did finally. From what I have seen with people doing this it tends to work in there favor. I wish everyone the best.
This is what I'm hoping for. From what I saw all conditions were adequate except 4, and they seem to be trying to make the conditions a higher percentage or a worse condition them what's there. I think is for the Dr its either a yes or no on the question they ask. I hope the VA has prepared the ratings for as if they are either a yes, no or combination of the both. Now this is very wishful thinking but I survived 51 months of combat so wishful thinking has worked in the past.
I have written plenty of letters and did congressionals. I give up . 5 years this shit been stressing me out. No more. I am done even bothering with it. Fucked up thing is , I have to stay in army until BVA finishes my appeal which averages years and I will be way past my contract date cause I am in IDES program. Fucking stupid. Cant ETS while in a med board. UNcle Sam fucks me again!
It does this because the ratings are not finalized and they are proposed ratings and the VA will need your DD214 to prepare your final ratings.
