"Pending decision approval"

@NAVYMA1 it takes a couple of months for the board just to get to your case. They will also be backed up a little due to the holidays, The VA will be faster than the board itself. in my case it took about 45 days for them to find me unfit and now I am just waiting on the board to send the info to the actual military PEBLO's at balboa so I can be medically retired. this whole process is long and drawn out with too many middle man. and the information is never up to date or passed on. I called the VA and they told me that my rating had been sent back to the board and the next day I called the PEBLO and they told me that my stuff had just got to the VA. So there is a big communication breakdown within this whole process. I apologize for this long reply but patience is key and all we can do is bug the peblos the whole time until its done.
How many claims did you have?

I agree it is different from place to place. I started Dec 2016, C&Ps in JAN 2016, NARSUM FEB 2016, Pending Decision Approval FEB 2016. My actual separation physical and C&P actually validated some things that were missed by both my PCM and Cardiologist.

I've been in this IDES process since OCT 2015. Finished all my appts 14 DEC 15 since they had booked duplicated appointments in various different places. Waited around til after the holidays. Signed my NARSUM 21 Jan and my packet was sent off to the VA.

Somewhere between then and now I was found UNFIT, they received the memo, but I was not notified of this I had to call my PEBLO to find out what was going on. Now I keep getting excuses that "oh DC was down for a week for snow" or "the system has been down the last 2 days so we can't check anything and they cant upload anything." So I called the supervisor and complained 2 MAR 16, within the hour my PEBLO called me back and said that they still have not received anything from the VA that is it as the Rater, which I guess means it's being rated I'm not sure exactly but eBenefits has said "Pending Decision Approval" now for 3 weeks and still nothing. Don't know if it changes anything by I only had like 6 claims.

I would love to know where my case stands. I have been at "Preparing for Decision" since Nov 2015. My PEB package was received by the Board 11/30/15.
My PEBLO says the same thing as many on here, "No updates yet"; although they have hinted its already been to the VA. But like I stated above, ebenefits has not went past the prep stage yet :/

On the first page of this forum there is a VA mainline number, that might be your best bet. I'm going to call as well. They won't tell you your ratings but they can at least tell you When or If they have gotten your packet. Hope this helps!

Yes, I have tried that already, got a run around, and basically the only information I got was "everything is fine, and its a process"

I just received my results today, my appointment is at noon so we can discuss everything. I started everything in August 2015.
started mine in aug too so hopefully im getting closer but who knows with the Naval yard always making excuses about stuff.

How do you find out if your ratings are completed and sent back?

you will know when you have a historical claim in ebennies .

I checked it again and checked account activity, my bad it's been exactly 1 month stuck at "pending decision approval" so it's still waiting to be rated I guess. sucks.

i finally have 2 claims open in mine. i was at pending decision approval for 4 months. it was finally updated that the va has the claim for ratings! i wonder how many days thats going to take

I was rated 40% :(... So I'm contesting the case. Has anyone heard of this going bad when you ask for a different rating and send it back.
