I just met with the VA claim rep yesterday and he found 7 other conditions that I can claim on top of the MEB complaint. He said I should get a call today or Monday to schedule my appointments with the VA. He said with what I have I should be found unfit and found at least 30%, from his experience. I guess we will just have to wait and see. From what I am gathering it seems that once your MEB goes to the PEB, if you're fit you find out right away. If not then it takes awhile. So - if my MEB is at the PEB and I haven't heard anything for about 1-2 months, is it safe to say that I am unfit?Honestly, I just listed everything. Some of the conditions were no longer active, so the VA rated me 0% for them...which still qualifies as a rating, so I am happy about that. My Command emailed me the NMA, and I completed it myself. Then, I turned it in and it was routed for the CO's approval.
I have finished the first two; my one with the neurologist and the GP. Next week I see the Ophthalmologist and then my hearing test is on the 12, even though I have no hearing issues
. Hopefully then the NAVSUM will be done quickly and my package can go out the end of April or earlier.
I will be glad when my package is off and gone because then at least I will know an answer will be coming soon (fit or unfit).
