    Signing findings until EAS posting

My EAS was just posted this morning. I have 53 days of leave on the books and plan on taking PTAD. My EAS was posted as July 30th to account for it all. It took about 3 weeks for my EAS to post after signing findings.

FYI New Administrative Change for Marines/Good Info for Unfit EAS'ers

Good morning, System updates have been made administratively for the Marine Corps which now requires Marines to submit their "Outbound Interviews" before a line of accounting can populate after an EAS is adjusted. The line of accounting needs to populate in order to get DMO orders cut from...

Where to check eBenefits and packet update.

What branch are you? I'm not sure for other branches, but as a Marine I received a notification via MOL telling me that the PEB had accepted my case and that it was under review. Ebenefits won't be of much use to you for a while, other than stating that a claim was submitted in the event that...

You have 10 days to decide whether or not you want to sign like NAVYMA1 stated. There's nothing that states you have 10 days to leave afterwards. It takes longer than that to get your EAS adjusted anyways.

    Anxiety question

I don't think you screwed yourself. A lot of service members don't get help for long periods of time due to a number of reasons. One of my Uncle's married a woman that was in the Air Force over 20 years ago who finally started getting treatment not long ago and she ended being rated for it...

    Timeline

@VrodViddy - It's a long process for sure. Try not to think about it too much and do everything that is required of you to keep it from stalling any. Hopefully it moves faster than a lot of individuals on here. I was one of the fortunate ones. Fingers crossed for you.

    VA Vocational Rehab

Thank you GSFOWLER for the response. I am almost finished with my graduate degree in Human Resource Management at American Military University. Hopefully they can set me up with a good human resources job once I meet up with them. I hear stories sometimes of counselors telling people that...

    VA Vocational Rehab

Good morning all, I am curious about voc rehab as I will be getting medically retired soon and have a meeting set up with them once I return back to Florida. Has anyone had any experience with them? I am curious to know if they are actually helpful in finding employment for disabled veterans...

[USMC] New to PEB ! IDK what to do!

You are still in the beginning stages then. You'll do your NMA with your chain of command like they said, I actually typed my own up and told my leadership that I wanted to be separated because of all of my conditions and they worked with me by wording their portions to fit an unfit decision...

[USMC] New to PEB ! IDK what to do!

Yes this situation is odd. I had been through 2 periods of LIMDU, a MEB where I reviewed NARSUM, and 3 QTC VA appointments well before my package was sent up to the PEB and receiving the MOL notification. Im intrigued to find out what is going on, keep us in the loop.

Treatment for new condition diagnosed during C&P

Gsfowler if they do eventually change it, do you think those of us already receiving the 50% for it will continue to receive that rate, or will they knock us down?

Treatment for new condition diagnosed during C&P

This happened to me, kind of, as I had a sleep study done which was ordered by my PCM and found out I have OSA after my C&P appointments. Since the VA conducted yours, it should be easy to add it to your claim. I called my VSO and he added it within 10 minutes and when I got my ratings back...

    GAD VS Unspecifed anxiety disorder

I would think that a specific diagnosis would have more weight when it comes to anxiety disorders because an unspecified one makes it seem like the doctors really aren't sure at all. I would definitely want a diagnosis on my paperwork that clearly articulated that something was wrong. This way...
