CRSC is for retirees who have gotten their disability due to combat. Take a look at the link provided. If it sounds like it applies to you, I would definitely apply for it. I put in for CRSC last summer and after almost 7 months I finally got my approval letter recently. The letter was dated Jan 20th, and I received it Feb 3rd. Can anyone tell me when I might see my first payment and when i'll get the 3 years of backpay I have coming? Much appreciated.

I retired Aug 21st. Aug 15th I received normal pay. August 22nd, I received the prorated 7 days, pro rated clothing allowance and I received the pay for the leave I sold.

Thank you. From start to finish it took about 7 months from permanent profile approved to signing out on leave. I know the process sucks, but believe it or not it has drastically improved and gotten faster. So try and take some comfort in that. Easier said then done I know.
