I called on October 31st to check the status since it had already been 30 days and that’s when they told me it was now 45 days.

My Post VA QA was returned to the PEB 1oct and came back November 13th. They are estimating 45 days now.

So from what I have gathered, if you are retired (<30% dod) you get out on the 28th of the month. Does anyone know if this also is for separating or can my orders be on any date of the month ? Thanks

So your date changed to probably two months later then original I’m assuming? So the way this was explained to me is that is the date that the ENTIRE claim will close and you start recieving benefits. So findings accepted, dd 214 has to be signed and sent to them, your basically out of the navy...

From what I have learned throughout this whole process is that nobody actually knows what the f*** is going on. Someone I work with had his package sent to the VA and it took only a week to go back to the PEB. They told me they have been seeing it only take a week. A theory that I have gathered...

I haven’t had any luck with the VA in weeks it just keeps going to voicemail.. I called the va 800 number as well but they are not one of the first people to know and the way the guy explained it was that they wouldn’t really know until after we sign the ratings with the lawyer. I was on hold...

That is crazy! I would have raised some hell, my PEBLO hasn’t told me anything though I find out all info from phone calls to the PEB and VA

For example.. my original referring condition was a shoulder injury but I had an addendum for migraines that were also a unfitting condition and signed a narsum for, along with 4 other narsums.

So addendums to my refereeing condition do not count?

So if I had a referred condition plus 5 addendums, the total of those rating based on the va math is what my DOD percentage should be?

Does anyone know how the DOD calculates ratings? I know how the VA does it, but I’m a little confused on the DOD side. Thanks
