Ive delt with this exact same medical issue...I got out in 2004 after only serving 2 years for having epilepsy...Somehow, I was given 10%, and $1,200 when I got out as a severance pay...After going to the VA and the epilepsy geting more intense, i was moved to 40%, still service connected...A...

Has anyone ever filed a claim for either one of these, either separate or connected to something...I just did, was curious to anyones opinion on what outcome could be.

I already receive benefits, just trying to add 2 new things to my profile. These would be associated with the original claim of which i receive benefits. The VA rep filed the claim, i saw the VA doctor, the records are in the system, but she still faxed the latest doctors reports.

I got the forms in the mail for the DoD Boards of Review. I guess for them to revaluate what happen to it.

It started at 20% with the VA then I got it increase to 40% cause seizure were increasing and medication increase.

The effective date of the 40% is Oct 2009. I got out with 10% in May 2005 by DoD (Army).
