Okay for those of yo who are interested, I ETS'ed on 29 April, I received my severance and final pay check all in onr today 26 May. I did call my post finance and DFAS on a regular basis, but I figured it was my money anyway!

DFAS is not the problem, your post finance has to release your money before DFAS can pay you. Now how fast they work I have no idea but I will keep y'all posted.

I called the post finance and they told me I should recieve it by next Wednesday

Yea these people at dfas are telling me that it will take 30-45 days to receive either. This is really confusing, they are holding both my final pay and severance to do an audit, why not one or the other? Anyone else received severance lately?

PDA said i should receive my separation orders on Monday, now my question is, I have 42 days of leave, and I am wondering how that will factor into my date of getting out. I want to be out around the end of March, will this be feasible?

That is what i thought, my PEBLO is telling me that since I am promotable, I will be paid at the next rank, and since I am close to 11 years I will be paid at 11.

Okay, received ratings by phone from PEBLO today 1/17/2012, 10% Army, 40% VA, the ratings took longer than expected, but it is okay, I am one step closer now.

Army - 10% SWSP VA- 40% I don't quite know what that means for me now, but I go to get my 199 tomorrow. Question to whomever can answer, is the VA withholding the whole amount against your severance or just a percentage?
