PDA said i should receive my separation orders on Monday, now my question is, I have 42 days of leave, and I am wondering how that will factor into my date of getting out. I want to be out around the end of March, will this be feasible?
If you are retired and once PDA is done you will have 90 days from the time you got your email from transition rep giving you your military end date. For example, I got a email Jan 25th with an end date of April 24th. I don't want to use the 20 days PTDY so I didnt take them. I did use my 85 days of regular leave which counting back from April 24 to February 16 will be my final out date. So I have 68 days terminal leave and the remaining 17 days I will sell back because I never sold leave in the military. All you do is get a calendar and count backwards from your end date. So you can only hope PDA comes back with your end date ASAP and you can do your leave form, get the signatures, get orders and clearing papers.
