Finally Done

Okay I think I am officially finished, I received my taxes back today from my severance pay. After I faxed my paperwork in it took 9 days to get to me. I also received my back pay for my disability and started receiving my normal monthly check from the VA. So from start to finish, I think it took a whole year but it is sweet now that this is done. Good luck for everyone still waiting.

Remember any secondary conditions to your primary rated conditions can be added for VA compensation. If any. Being done with process is a great relief. Congrats
 
Only a year?!?!?! Damn you got lucky! 17 months start to finish, and still no VA letter and VA pay... Hopefully next month!
 
i emailed my request for my severance taxes to dfas on Oct 12th, haven't heard anything so far. How did you know they paid you? did it just show up in your account or did you receive some notification from them?
 
closing in on a month now, should i fax them the paperwork or just continue to wait?
