1 Oct 2013 to 18 Aug 2014 to get my VA ratings at Seattle. Still waiting on my 199.

1 Oct 13 to 18 Aug 14 for the VA to complete my ratings. 448 days in the IDES as of today. Who really knows how some go fast and others drag on. I'm just ready for it to be done with.

Yesterday my dashboard said that I was completed. There are no timelines from the PEB findings to the Transition phase. Benefits says 5 days. How can I be done when I haven't even received a 199 to tell me whether I am fit or unfit?! So yes, the dashboard and eBenefits are a joke at best.

Now I'm back on track with eBennnies stating, " Pending Decision Approval"! Getting Closer!

More medical documentation within the past 12 months for one of my contentions. I guess if they had touched it prior to 310 days they may not need said documentation.

Well, after being with the VA for 307 days, my case finally moved again. This time it went back to the Gathering of Evidence Phase for the SECOND time. They want more documentation. I'm not sure to be mad because it went backwards again, or to be happy knowing that it is actually being looked...

302 days waiting for the VA. The entire process has been 399 days so far. There is no constant flow up there. BE PATIENT! I know, how can you be? Do yourself a favor and try to keep your mind focused on the end result or you'lll drive yourself crazy.

I was just told through the VA 1-800 # that Seattle is taking up to 15 months to process claims. Has anyone else heard anything close to this?

I surely hope so. A friend of mine who has less time in the IDES process than I do on the VA side just heard from someone at the VA about his ratings. More or less a courtesy call saying, Hey, I can't give you your numbers but you're going to be just fine in the end. So i get this guys direct...

You are correct in your assumption. Your proposed ratings should be coming soon. At that point you agree or disagree. If you agree (hence pending decision approval), the VA side will start back up and your transition should begin shortly. Your step on eBennies should move to prep for notification.

218 with the VA, 315 days total IDES process.
