So, can someone explain Pending Decision Approval to me? Does it mean my ratings are done? My PEBLO seems to think I'll be hearing my ratings this week.

You are correct in your assumption. Your proposed ratings should be coming soon. At that point you agree or disagree. If you agree (hence pending decision approval), the VA side will start back up and your transition should begin shortly. Your step on eBennies should move to prep for notification.

hopefully since your at 219 days, you will be right behind him with a Ebunnies change as well.

My case seems to have stalled and my PEBLO bites my head off for calling and asking. It shows that my VA Ratings were completed on Apr. 29, but doesn't show me as having any days remaining in the process and has "unknown" as my expected finish date. It also says "current step: N/A". I've heard of the PEB putting cases on hold before, how would i check into this?

I seem to not be able to get any thing out of my PEBLO. Last week my e benefits changed to pending decision approval which was day 70 for this whole process. Yesterday it change back to gathering evidence separation documents requested with a due by date of 6 June. The issue is my Peblo has not called to inform me of any thing. He told me my 199 should be in soon when i called him after the change in ebenefits. If they need my DD 214 by 6 June shouldn't I have already received my 199 and when do my orders come in play?

Review of evidence ended April 30 2014

I surely hope so. A friend of mine who has less time in the IDES process than I do on the VA side just heard from someone at the VA about his ratings. More or less a courtesy call saying, Hey, I can't give you your numbers but you're going to be just fine in the end. So i get this guys direct number from my friend, Sorry sir, I cannot help you. I was hoping to get some info. PEBLO tells me the same thing, MSC can't be reached.... just so frustrated after that call.

I called my PEBLO. She said she would be surprised if I do not hear my preliminary ratings by Monday at the latest. I think it took so long for me because I had one disqualifying condition but it is neurological so they listed all my symptoms as well since they won't go away. My MSC said they are rating all (10 or so) of my symptoms.

I received my orders today. 30 May 2014 is my retirement date. 371 days of waiting.

I wish you all luck and patience. I will be on looking and if I can assist anyone I will. Again thank you!

The two of us are on similar time paths. I am a few days ahead and haven't seen my 199. My PEBLO has not been the most supportive as of late and said "the process is the process" and "don't get frustrated"

I have heard around here that the timeframe from prep for decision to 199 can be 3-30 days. Hope mine is waiting on me when I come back to work on Monday.

Right.......don't get frustrated. Easier said than done.

Exactly. Easier said than done. Also, can anyone confirm the info someone gave earlier in the thread? If I accepted a position with the government (USDA, specifically) and my start date is set for 01 June and I miss that due to the process, do they have to wait for me since it is a GS-08 job? Or can they not give me the position? I know civilian hirers can send you packing, but not sure if the government can.

look at the bottom of the job posting for "AGENCY CONTACT INFO:" email them and they will respond within 1 business day, which could be Monday

I got 199 today. 90% DOD / 100% VA. PEBLO said that I should have orders by the end of the week.
Was given the name and number of the lady that will cut my orders so, will be stopping by her office monday morning.

I have been in the MEB process a total of 404 days so far. ALMOST DONE! Now I am a little nervous. Everything is going to be fast!

I was told that there will be a reevaluation on my hip and mental. So hoping that I will continue to get 100% after those appointments in a year. I guess the fight never really ends even when you get out! That SUCKS!

Spoke with my PEBLO this morning and she said that she expects to have my 199 back this week. Fingers crossed this is indeed the case!
