  • My questions would be

    1. Will the PDRL follow the va rating of 70% awarded Aug 2013
    2. and if it does not and rates me less than 70% should I appeal or take what course of action.
I frequently use the veterans crisis line as I can access anywhere from the net. I spent several inpatient hospitalization with the VA and civilian PTSD programs and MH. I frequently used VA and civilian MH and took my MH meds I am still using them as well. The last being from Jan-Jul 2013.
I am currently living in HK since Dec 2013. I have not had the ability to go to VA appointments or any other facilities as china does not that this. I tried to go to the Manila VA office and told I was not able to because I didn't reside in manila.
Mr. Perry, I am on TDRL and going to my PDRL exam IN TACM HI tomm. I was put on TDRL in Feb 2010 and have not been seen by the army since. I of course went to the VA and SSDI. I am receiving 70% PTSD from the VA (80% combined va rating) and SSDI.
Incap pay and LOD. Injured may 2013 knee and low back. Did not attend drill until December...Feb 2014 re injured and fell on back. Approved lod for back in April 2014. Have not attended drill since feb 2014 as VA physicians marked unfit for duty on da 7574-1 no pay as of yet. Gave me an approved LOD for t5 vertebrae in Sept 2014.

Been diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis ........never had these type of problems before my injury but lod and incap people say they want more documentation so I signed a release form ....contacted an IG but says it takes time. I have not been able to work and the only reason I attended drill in dec jan feb is my unit said civilian doc notes don't count and to come in and just sit down I won't have to do anything

I have signed my 199 received 50% (Army, 21 yrs active duty) and 70%(VA) with a V1 and V3 for my back. I asked about how the CRSC works and no one seems to know. My lawyer said I would receive extra money, "SMEs" told me not to bother with CRSC because it would eliminate the VA pay. Could anyone simplify this process for me and explain how they calculate the amount you receive.

Ignore the "SMEs" who told you that...The whole point of CRSC is to restore the money that would be otherwise waived because of the general prohibition on dual receipt. The rules on CRSC payment can be found on the Army CRSC website (https://www.hrc.army.mil/tagd/crsc ) and the specific calculations can be found in the DoD Financial Management Regulation.

Also, there are many threads on this site covering the calculations.
Good luck and congratulations on your retirement.

Thanks, I will also thank you and all the other seniors on this page. It seems that you all give good advise. I followed the page and based off others situations and the advise they received allowed me to handle my case with better expectations. Thanks again and keep giving the good advice.
I am traveling and will not be able to check in or post on the forums much over the next several days.
Sir, I'm having issues with my IDES process and not receiving much help from the Army. I'm wondering if this is something I need a lawyer for? Would you be willing to give me advice? I have posted on the forum about this, but I know my PEBLO is going to contact me soon stating I need to sign everything that same day. Thank you

It is difficult to know if you "need" (or would benefit) from having a lawyer. Every case is different and some folks do just fine without outside help. Others would definitely benefit. Would need to no more about your case in order to offer any advice. If you are interested in my services, please contact me at jason.perry@jeperrylaw.com. You can also read more about my practice at www.peblawyer.com .
My question for the forum is this, how long does it take to get a response back or a decision from the PDBR? I sent my paper work in in October of 2013 and I also sent my SS approval paperwork to show the seriousness of my issues. I have tried to get in touch with the PDBR to no aval and it you have a moment I have a few questions for you. antjuanjones1784@gmail.com

Hi Jason here is what I wrote you in January, I retired from reserves in 2007 because they would not send me to med board for an evaluation I applied to ARBCMR and they denied my request to be sent for an evaluation and an upgrade to medical retirement from regular honorable reserve retirement this is what it was about basically. Thanks Jason

    Sir,

US Air Force Reserve security Forces member.

My LOD was approved and asked to be put on MEDCON, Col. stated that at this time due to budget restraints orders where not available again due to no money in the budget, but was advised to try for INCAP with a 50/50 chance of getting it.
