Does anyone know how long it has taken to receive your withheld VA pay after retiring? I had two months of pay withheld by the VA until DFAS completes some sort of audit showing them I am eligible for CRDP.
You won’t get pay for Jan, probably will get pay by March 1st for FebruaryChecked mypay today said 0$ due. My last day on active duty is 30jan19. Question is when can I expect to see my January pay? Been on transitional leave since 8dec18. How long til receive my severance pay?
The DFAS transmits audit results to the VA around the 5th of each month. It’s been 3 months for me so far. I contacted DFAS and was told they have to send something to the VA to verify whatever. They do that once a month I believe.
