Indeed, as I often state, ask and you shall receive...

Enter the ZIP code of the geographic location where the Service member currently resides: 81321

For the "Western Colorado nonmetropolitan area" area, an approved VA caregiver for "BUCKS" county in the location of "MONTEZUMA" at a Local Hourly Wage of "$13.12" is...
  • Tier 1 is looking at $570.72 for a monthly stipend amount (e.g., 10 hours of care)
  • Tier 2 is looking at $1,426.80 for a monthly stipend amount (e.g., 25 hours of care)
  • Tier 3 is looking at $2,282.88 for a monthly stipend amount (e.g., 40 hours of care)
NOTE the "Disclaimer: These compensation rates are subject to change based on revisions made to Bureau of Labor Statistics wage rates."

Thank you too!

By the way, is aid and attendance the same thing as va caregiver stipend or are they different and how do?

Can I please have the rates for zip code 04222 ? I can't get the calculator to work either. Thank you for your help!

Welcome to the PEB Forum!

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

No, two different programs which are funded by two different organizations albeit they both may have similar goals in my opinion.

Hmm, I am not able to research the provided zip code. The application states "The zip code was not found. Please notify your supervisor." That said, do you have another valid zip code at this point it time?

Ok, I need some advice. I have applied for this program and been denies 3 times now... Not sure what I am doing wrong. My husband (just got out last year) suffers from a TBI, PTSD, anxiety, memory loss, etc... They keep telling me I do not qualify because he is capable of caring for himself... Twice this week, I have had to turn the burner on the stove off because he forgot.... He is surely capable of caring for himself.... and burning my house down! I know he's not completely dependent upon me by any means, but I have to do his cooking, laundry, cleaning the house, etc. as well as manage the finances and help with his meds and appointments. I do not understand how they keep rejecting us.... Any help would be great. Thanks!

Thanks... This is all in his medical records and he goes to VA appointments every week so it's not like they aren't aware... i'll see if we can get them to help out, though....
