Unfitting condition: DDD /w spondylosis and facet arthropathy
Other claims: Left ankle strain, cervical strain (quiescent), hearing loss, tinnitus

Been lurking around the forums for a long time but I figure I should go ahead and add a timeline here for those that may find this useful in the future.

I'm still uncertain as to why there was such a large gap of time in between the IPEB and the ratings stage. Either it was just sitting on someone's desk at the PEB, the Tacoma VA location is incredibly backed up, or both. At this point, I'm dreading the PEB findings and PDA approval stage as I have a co-worker who signed for his ratings over a month ago and it is still sitting at the PEB.

I was told about 8 weeks time for ratings, which seems just about on par with your timeline.

Good Morning HoneyBear, I Too am at Tripler and I am slightly ahead of you. It has literally been a nightmare since I started here. Very unhelpful and honestly I'm over this process. Posted with this is my timeline. I waited 40 days for my ratings, which I only found out were c0omplete because I checked ebenefits. About a week later my "wonderful" PLEBLO called to tell me they were in. Honestly it feels like your just a number and these people don't care. I would realistically say about 3-4 weeks before your ratings and 4-8 weeks before your DA-199. I had another SM who I worked with that did IDES about a year ago. He was completed in 101 days. I'm amazed how this process takes so long. They told me there is over 1000 cases that are running through TAMC, don't know how true this is but I'm about to lose a job offer if this takes any longer.

I appreciate you sharing your timeline. I'm in a similar situation with post-transition planning as well as I basically had to scrap what arrangements I had, since I was initially told to expect to be done before March. I had no idea Tripler was this backed up but it doesn't surprise me at this point. I hope things work out for you in the end.

I can't speak for the Air Force as far as time tables go, but the Army has had problems since the beginning of the year when it comes to anything involving the PEB.

I'm right in front of you. I signed my DA199 on May 1st. It was about 2 weeks after PEB findings. I think the PDA/transition part is gonna be a bit.

Ours are similar. I got my VA ratings April 19th. But still waiting on my PEB findings....

So it was confirmed to me that the PEB did indeed sit on my case for two months from when I was found unfit to when they actually pushed it out to the VA. I also found out that my case is like the 4th or 5th oldest case that the TAMC has at this time. It would make sense to consider a case going this long to be expedited but that doesn't seem to be the case. At this time, I am going to have to engage the ombudsman and request my coc for assistance. I already have the documents to request a congressional inquiry ready to be used as ammo. My post-transition plan doesn't even fucking exist at this point and I have lost whatever patience I've had. I will keep this thread updated with any additional information I find.

My tracker has the same bullet. I wouldn't worry about it since your signature and consent is required for the election phase.
