Mine is out of settle. I only have 7 claims
 
Im nearing the month mark and Im really hoping to here something soon. My PEBLO says cases with about my number of claims have typically been taking around a month. So im crossing my fingers. In reference to the VA, is 7 claims on the lower or higher side?
 
I say low
 
I think its easier if soldiers would just set their minds that this is going to be a long process and it could take some of the stress off by focusing on other things

Specially if you only been waiting for 30 days then you go off word of mouth on how long rating will take you will rack your brain with timelines..

Anything after 2 months after unfit is a stressor..stressing under 2 month is just for no reason, specially if your looking for a high rate
 
Lol when you are in Alaska and nothing to do then that is all you think about. My timeLine has been really fast being now 90 days in the meb and waiting for ratings. Lol I expect to be there now. I'm so inpatient.
 
Yeah, worrying is all you can do... When you have people depending on you for support and your about to leave all you've know for years, most find it pretty urgent to start preparing for the civilian world. And you cant really start doing that until you have that 199. So worrying seems like a pretty normal thing.

16 claims went through Seattle VA....Unfit Memo sent to VA on 26 December and proposed ratings done by VA on 28 January 2013. I had my 199 1 day later. Total time for ratings at VA was a little less than 30 days including New Year Holiday.

Was never impatient at all, and obviously my post made you feel some type of way if you felt like I was being arrogant, and yes I'm done so that's gives me more of a reason to give my opinion on trying to help someone be less stressed rather than have high hopes at the 30 day mark just to wait another 30
 
SPC legget, I apolgiize coming off strong. I suffer from several Anxiety issues and it was too late for me to beon here last night. However I have looked at some of your posts, and like most of us you have some areas of anxiety within them. There was also one post where you yourself recomended that the VA timeline was less than 30 days. I do not wish to carry this tangent on. Hopefully we can stop theese distracting comments and continue to help others. I constantly tell others they just have to be patient including myself . Thank youo for all of your assistance on here and other threads. I wish you nothing but the best.
 
JMAC, Im jealous... I have only 7 claims and ive almost hit the month mark. My ebenefits still just says "gathering evidence"... I hate this crazy bush league system.
 
MYBAMF, I am in the same boat. My packet was sent shortly after JMAC's and nothing has happened. Ya gotta love the Armies Hurry up and wait!!
 
After being found unfit on November 28th. My ebenefits went to pending decision approval this afternoon. Hopefully it gets finished soon and I get that 199 maybe end of the month early march.
 
I only have 7 conditions, and pass my 30 day from unfit mark now. Ebennies still says Gathering of Evidence. Want to plan for the future, but how can I set up job interviews being 4000 miles away from my home!!
 
Sicotic that is a tough one and sorry I can't provide a good answer for that one. I start school in October but I'm moving to the UK and can't apply to get my visa back or anything until I have that da-31 in hand with terminal leave start date. Sucks and sucks some more without getting good timeline from the people who run the show.
 
It is very fustrating for all of us and we must all be patient. I think it's a psychological thing. It drove me nuts in the beginning and now oh well as long I'm still getting paid and that VA will do what's right to finalize this whole process.

I'm at 60 days today since they received my packet. I honestly think they are so backed up that they're even hiring to help close cases.

I think that by 6 Mar, being 120 days, that I should be signing my 199 since the entire PEB takes up to 120 in most cases.

Hope this helps others if I'm correct.

It's take at least weeks to rate be done. my unfit sent 11/27/2012 and my rating done on 02/09/2013.
 
So based on what everyone is saying, answer this. I received my unfit memo on 13 Dec 2012 it was recieved by VA in Seattle on 14 Dec. I still have not received anything and ebennied says gathering evidence. I was found unfit for 16 conditions. When should I start to worry or what should I do?

I assuming, your proposal rating be done after March first.
