Question on being found fit or unfit

Hi, I have been on here quite a few times searching the forums for all kinds of questions and have founds lots of answers. I am in the Air Force and I am being meb'd for l4/l5 petruding/bulging disc in my back. It all happened in July 2012. I have already been through my c&p exams and just signed my NARSUM yesterday. My peblo said my paperwork got sent up to IPEB yesterday as well. My question is, I know it's not a guaranteed thing, but what do you guys think. Since it has already went through once and found unfit at the small board and is being sent up a second time will it be found unfit? or will I be sent back to duty with a code. Any comments would be appreciated, thanks.

Congrats! I would try the DAV now to find the ratings. Has you peeblo said anything?
It's probably because you have more conditions on there than me. I only have like 6 on mine. Where is yours at now?

Congrats great to hear it. Hopefully it goes by fast from now. Has the peblo said anythig?

Nah it just moved, I know the peblo willl not see anything for at least a day or two, probably a week or more.

Nah, my PEBLO hasn't told me anything yet and I just contacted her two days ago to tell her that I was going to extend my leave. Would the DAV rep tell me over the phone? Is that the VA rep that I talked to and set up my C&P exams?

I was just contacted by my PEBLO yesterday and my results came in and are sitting on her desk.. She cannot tell me them over the phone so I have a meeting set up with her when I come back after leave next week. Hopefully it's good news but at least I will have some news waiting on me!

I called the 1800 number and the lady said that the decision has been made, that they have found out my proposed ratings but not have made my notification package yet or mailed it out? She also said that even if she could see my proposed ratings she could not tell me them over the phone... pretty dumb.

Indeed, good deal; it seems that the long wait for DoVA proposed rating is complete! :)

Hmm, the VBA has a strict policy which directs the non-release of DoVA ratings via telephonic communications; it is what it is unfortunately!

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

Indeed, more good news albeit you have to wait until the end of your leave to receive the results at this point in time! :) -> :(

i'd be on the first plane/boat/street car/donkey/dog sled etc. back and camping outside the office.

My VA rep called today (I am still on leave and out of state) and let me know she could tell me off of her computer the VA percentages but not the DOD percentages over the phone. So I was like great! She tells me after looking it up that its 0 Percent for everything! WTF! I hope something is wrong with her system since it is just proposed ratings.. I called my PEBLO right after and she of course said she cannot agree with her in saying that is correct until she sees me in person. I will not see her until Wed. She said my back (which is the main reason I am being medical boarded) is 0 percent , anxiety 0 percent, and migranes were before service somehow, and insomnia is 0 percent...now I'm just super worried about this meeting.

any inputs? I still haven't seen them yet due to weather closing down the base.. Is the VA giving 0 percent for everything normal? I usually see on here a percent for everything..

Wow! I'm saddened to hear that your DoVA proposed ratings are not potentially within your expectations at this time.

From my experiences within the DoD IDES process, the DoVA D-RAS shall award a non-compensable DoVA rating to any medical condition when the medical evidence isn't severe enough to show "chronic" symptomatology albeit there exist enough medical evidence to prove military service connectivity.

As such, if validated by your PEBLO upon the forthcoming face-to-face meeting, it seems that at a minimum a VARR submission request is warranted for potential correction in my opinion.

In retrospect, I currently have 11 claimed medical conditions which have a DoVA 0% proposed rating, and five medical conditions which didn't received any DoVA proposed rating whatsoever.

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

update: I got 0% for everything with severance pay and will be fighting it.

Indeed, I am saddened to hear this albeit that's the spirit for sure in my opinion! ;)

Nonetheless, never default acceptance to potential injustice is my stance; fight then continue to fight some more until receipt of your desired expectations!
