Preparation for decision

No worries, it's all good! By the way, there aren't any dumb questions for the PEB Forum; that's why we are here! ;)

In retrospect, Interactive Customer Evaluation (ICE) is a web-based tool that collects feedback on services provided by various organizations throughout DoD. It is designed to improve customer service by allowing managers to monitor satisfaction levels through reports and customer comments.

To that extent, ICE provides the following benefits:
  • Allows DoD customers to quickly and easily provide feedback to service provider managers
  • Customers can make submissions anonymously or can include contact information
  • Gives leadership timely data on service quality
  • Allows managers to benchmark the performance of their service providers against other DoD
    and organizations
  • Encourages communication across organizations by comparing best practices to increase
    performance results
  • Saves money
Moreover, please visit this URL https://ice.disa.mil/ to view the primary DoD ICE main website and to obtain additional detailed information.

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

Really wish I could but the base he is located at doesn't have an option to leave feedback for anything related to Medical services only thing listed under health is the Fitness Center/Gym... I guess this is an effective way to not get negative feedback by not giving people the opportunity to do so. No worries though I will address the situation when I am finished wish IDES to ensure that doing so doesn't affect me negatively while I am still going through it.

Wow, this is indeed unfortunate in my opinion! :(

But, you definitely have a solid contingency plan upon the completion of the DoD IDES MEB/PEB process; good deal!

This is my first time posting here. My case went to "Preparation for Decision" on eBenefits on 14OCT2014. After a week I called my PEBLO to ask for the status, and they said that it was in the "VA's QA" phase. I can not find any information on that phase anywhere. Does anyone know what that means, and how long it takes? I am getting a little frustrated at this point, because I was told it would only take 4 weeks for the VA to be done (ha!!). I am now over 7 weeks. I just need to know how long I should prepare for before I can be done.

Hello, welcome, from what you put it seems that it is going through the final checks to make sure they crossed their t's and dotted their i's. I don't think it will stay their long. I'm in the army, QA in the army means quality assurance. Try to be patient even though it is hard. Good luck to you

Thanks for the info. Luckily I have a really good PEBLO, so that helps. From what I've read on these forums, having a good PEBLO is rare, indeed.

Welcome to the PEB Forum! :)

Indeed, it may seem so albeit DoD IDES participants should not accept anything but the best performance from their assigned PEBLO. If their PEBLO is "lacking" in duty performance then it's time to "ICE" them up and/or make an inquiry to their command leadership for immediate resolution in my direct opinion! ;)

To that extent, having "patience" while in the DoD IDES process shall definitely yield favorable results physically and/or mentally at the end of the process; a glorious 618 calendar days in the DoD IDES process is my "case-in-point" for sure! :D Take care, continue to get well, and enjoy life!

Yep, you're lucky to have a good PEBLO. Mine only contacts me when she has something for me to sign. Other than that, she doesn't answer calls or emails. It sucks!!
