Orders anyone??

Quick Suggestion.... DO NOT call the 8557933372!!!!! I just wanted to make sure my packet had made it to the PDA and just got off of the phone with this lady, no matter how nicely you speak to her or how dire your situation, she will tell you that you need to follow proper procedure and go through your PEBLO.... when I told her that I have tried and have not heard back from my PEBLO, she stated that she hears from him often and does not believe that he would not contact me back...... NOT a good thing to say to someone who is already pissed off and ready to go postal. I did manage to keep my cool and even though she kept repeating that I needed to go through my PEBLO, she slipped and told me that the analyst that has my packet can't stop for every call she receives. As soon as she said that, I double checked what she said and explained that I didn't want to speak with the analyst, I just wanted to make sure they had my packet. She confirmed that yes my packet is in the system and they analyst is working it.

This is a fight to get information and it is pretty friggin sad that the system is set up this way.....

Geez. Really is crazy! I called them and the guy was like your case is still with the PEB and just get with my PEBLO.

Man so do I have a story for you guys. Shout out to ACE for the hookup with the phone number, I called them and they had zero idea where my packet was. I spent 30 min on the phone with the SSG at the Pda and JBLM. My MEB isn't even in any system. They asked if I was sure I was getting an MEB. SO luckily I work in the same building as my PEBLO. Went and saw his ass. had no explanation. I sat and wait and watched him submit it through the system and then we called the PDA and JBLM to make sure it was there. Like seriously, its been six weeks are you fking kidding me.
what the hell??!

yea it took me a couple of times of calling that number to actually get a male on the phone who's a lot nicer its like they get pissed off when someone calls them... smh

Yup, the invividual I talked with from the PDA essentially called me a liar when I tried to determine what the status of my case was. It's not like I've been waiting 10 weeks for orders.... oh wait.

Finally got a reply from my PEBLO yesterday:

"I have requested an updated RPAM from your unit/state. The PEB called me last
week and requested it to complete your final orders."

I work down the hall from the G1 who prepares the RPAM so I will be making a trip down to see them this morning. If they haven't sent it already I will get a copy and send it myself. I am really hoping this wraps up quickly, I still have to fight with Social Security and OPM to get my Federal Retirement approved..... I have a feeling it will be early fall before I am completely retired now.

I know that there are many others out there that have been waiting much longer than I have, but this is what burns my ass about the whole system:

I am sitting at 35 days at the PDA Phase yet a fellow Soldier in my Unit had his completed in 1 day this month....WTH?

Oh and it is a good damn thing that my PEBLO told me that he requested an updated RPAM from the state. I went to the G1 to talk to the RPAM Manager, but guess what..... he is in school for the next 7 weeks and his alternate is in school for the next 10 weeks. Luckily I used to work with the IT Chief for the G1 and he was able to produce the RPAM report and I sent it to my PEBLO myself. Had I not done this, I would probably be sitting here another 7 weeks from now raising hell about waiting for retirement orders.

Sorry....done venting now ;)

I actually stopped looking at that one because my case was up at PDA and on my AKO it still said PEBLO Counsel and Soldier Election hence i got my call from transition yesterday and my AKO is still in the same spot..

Mine hasn't worked in over 5 months

So after 11 weeks of waiting on orders I finally had to get legal involved, and like magic, I was placed on the transproc list the same day. The lawyer told me that the PDA has been sitting on cases for months and he has seen people wait 6 months. I would suggest if you are waiting on 199 or orders, that you get your legal team involved. The PEB/PDA doesn't care about you, you mean nothing to them. If it takes a week or a year, they don't care. it's up to you to handle your own case and ensure you are given a fair outcome. Now begins the next hurdle, working to get the right orders processed.

Your right I noticed this yesterday, everyone wants to point the finger at the other person. Got IG involved yesterday tired of people pushing the problem away.

MY dashboard is hit and miss, however I've been waiting 8 weeks and people hit the list in 2 days. Also had someone appeal and hit the list before me. Its unreal.

Is the same legal office that you would go to if you were to appeal your ratings or the installation JAG office? I've been waiting for 11 weeks as well and still waiting to be added to the TRANSPROC list. What installation are you on?

Ok so my 199 was signed 18 April 2017 if I recall. 7 July 2017 at 1530 the IDES Supervisor called me and told me I had finally populated on the TRANSPROC list. 80 days (NO APPEAL) is what it took for me. 10 July @ 0930 I go in for my clearing counseling. I will try to keep y'all updated. MEB/IDES from Fort Sill, OK.

I called the IDES Supervisor daily and email PDA twice. I am not sure if that helped or hindered my process.
