My timeline

My findings finally came in!!! 60% DOD and VA. Now time to sign them (going to appeal later, just need to get out now) and start my move to IL.

Indeed, congratulations; enjoy your military disability retirement to include DoVA disability compensation too! :)

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer!"

Best Wishes!

Congrats man! I signed mine and chose 30 days. Peblo told me to expect 30-40 days though since it takes time to get orders. I hope it's faster

I am going to request March 30th. My command told me a few weeks ago they could get all my stuff processed in about 2 weeks of getting findings so I could start terminal. When I called to let them know the findings were in they now say it will take 3-4 weeks once the discharge orders are in hand. So another 4-5 weeks before I can start my job. I really hope they still hold it for me, waiting for them to call me back.

Congrats bro it certainly is starting to look like the dominoes are starting to fall.

congratulations brother!

Thanks everyone. I talked to my job yesterday and told them it would still be awhile until I could show up. They thought I meant April or May but I told them I should be able to start either March 7th or 14th since I am not taking anytime between checking out and starting. Right now I am waiting for them to call me back and tell me what job they are going to put me in until the next licensing class starts in December (since it looks like I won't be able to take and pass that exam on March 9th).

My PEBLO just told me the signed findings go back to the PEB and then go to PERS for the orders to be cut. Hopefully this part goes quickly through the PEB.

The pers

That is exactly what I was told. The PEB generates a code, sends it to PERS, who sends out a message with a batch of people on it.

The person I'm working with at PSD told me he can generate the orders the same day the message comes out, and I'll have my dd214 in hand the next day.

Thats fast. My command doesn't have a PSD, just an activated reserve PS chief who is not really on top of things. Hopefully I can light a fire for him. However, for now, as long as I can check out on or before march 3rd I will be happy.

Damn guys! Great info! I am glad you guys are getting things worked out.

lol... I am all alone..

I will...

Just keep swimming....just keep swimming....

Hey all kinda new here. I got off the phone with one of the active duty chief peblo's yesterday regarding my stuff. It went through QA as of 20JAN16 and was sent to the VA on 29JAN16. All I was told was that to expect my stuff to come back in three to five months from the VA. I even tired calling the PEB Office(since I saw some people here have had luck with talking to them directly) for some insight and asked a generalized question of what they've been seeing with cases. They told me to call my PEBLO and just hung up the phone. Felt pretty much like shit after that. Hoping that isn't the case from everything I've seen it could be quicker or take a bit of time. I know I'm just one of countless going through this. From what I've seen in this thread it seems I could expect something back sooner than later. Hoping that's the case.

The PEB will get your case back from the VA around February 15th or so.... Once things start speeding up you should get your stuff back probably Late March.... I only say this because I have gotten bored of waiting and have been documenting trends and time frames of other peoples cases. I know I will have my results by next week and when I do rest assured I am right and you will have yours mid to late march. Keep your head up brother!

@jsancheziii I am right there with you bro. The VA sent my stuff back to the PEB the same day as you. I hope your right on when the ratings will be back.

Yeah same here I hope that ends up being the case. I'll def post here when I end up getting my stuff back from the VA so y'all that are in the same position can get some ease of mind too.

I met with my MSC at the VA yesterday to go over my ratings and sign some stuff. I am still waiting on my orders and have heard nothing (not even a possible timeline). Has anyone (@jsigler08, @martines) gotten their orders yet?
