26 Oct 14 - 26 Jan 15 - 5 Fainting spells (syncope). Constant lightheadedness, dizziness, and pre syncope episodes.
9 Dec 14 - My cardiologist had me do a Tilt Table test and I fainted during the test. Blood pressure went to 70/43. That was a positive result for Neurocardiogenic Syncope.
6 Feb 15 - MEB initiated. PCM wrote up narrative, code 37, and duty limiting profile.
18 Feb 15 - Met with PEBLO for initial meeting and sign paperwork.
20 Feb 15 - Commanders letter signed and sent to PEBLO.
23 Feb 15 - PEBLO sent CC letter and package to find if I am fit/unfit.
3 Mar 15 - PEBLO called and said I was found unfit.
21 Apr 15 - VA C&P exam.
12 May 15 - Received NARSUM from PEBLO to review.
13 May 15 - Reviewed NARSUM and had a few disagreements with it. Put together a Letter of Exception with what I disagree with.
19 May 15 - Met with PEBLO and signed my NARSUM with the submitted Letter of Exception, statements, and additional medical documentation.
1 Jun 15 - IDES contacted my PEBLO for additional information in regards to my dizziness and migraines.

January 2014 = File VA Claims knowing I will be more than likely being going to MEB/PEB
July 2014 = Awarded 80% VA for PTSD, ASTHMA and several other minor conditions.
October 2014 = PHA New Profile, box checked requires MEB.
November 3, 2014 = PEBLO Initial Contact.
November 4, 2014 = VA Claim Initiated.
November 10, 2014 = Claim shows up on E-Bennies in Pending Decision Approval.
December 8, 2014 = Attend 2 C&P Exams, General Medical and BH

I got my orders today with a retirement date of 28 Aug 15!! Woohoo!! Mine is going super fast! I think it is record time to have orders in less than 3 days.

26 Oct 14 - 26 Jan 15 - 5 Fainting spells (syncope). Constant lightheadedness, dizziness, and pre syncope episodes.
9 Dec 14 - My cardiologist had me do a Tilt Table test and I fainted during the test. Blood pressure went to 70/43. That was a positive result for Neurocardiogenic Syncope.
6 Feb 15 - MEB initiated. PCM wrote up narrative, code 37, and duty limiting profile.
18 Feb 15 - Met with PEBLO for initial meeting and sign paperwork.
20 Feb 15 - Commanders letter signed and sent to PEBLO.
23 Feb 15 - PEBLO sent CC letter and package to find if I am fit/unfit.
3 Mar 15 - PEBLO called and said I was found unfit.
21 Apr 15 - VA C&P exam.

Wow, you got your orders fast. Mine took over 3 weeks!!! I take it you are reserve? Your Retirement date not being on the 1ST of the month and all.

December 2013 = PHA causes 2 P3 Profiles to be Initiated. Next several months LOD initiated and decided.
January 2014 = File VA Claims knowing I will be more than likely being going to MEB/PEB
July 2014 = Awarded 80% VA for PTSD, ASTHMA and several other minor conditions.
October 2014 = PHA New Profile, box checked requires MEB.
November 3, 2014 = PEBLO Initial Contact.
November 4, 2014 = VA Claim Initiated.
November 10, 2014 = Claim shows up on E-Bennies in Pending Decision Approval.
December 8, 2014 = Attend 2 C&P Exams, General Medical and BH

I was thinking of doing something small, but I think that after serving 16 years I deserve to have the whole ceremony. So that is what I am going to do. I am actually excited to be getting it together. Its a short time to get everything together, but I have a great team helping me! You?

Then just school for me after I retire. Gotta finish my BA. :-)

I am a dual status Technician so I am retiring from both the Reserves and the Depart of the Army Civilian job. I have been a uniformed technician for 28 years. I have already been approved for VOC Rehab and am going to start Computer Network and Security Degree Program, as soon as my civilian retirement goes through.
