So sometime between 8-19 Jun 15 eBenefits changed to preparing for decision. I had been on leave out of state and just too busy that I had not checked it while I was away.
Regardless, this is going pretty fast I think! Excited to find out soon!
So I just found out today that my PEBLO has had my proposed ratings from the VA since 25 Jun and has not told me!!! I talk to her about this and she told me that she cannot provide that information to me. I asked why?? What states you cannot tell me my proposed ratings?? She said she will call someone above her tomorrow to see if she can tell me or not. I am so irritated right now with her. It would be nice to know something. All she kept saying is that its not the DoD rating and it is just a proposed rating. UGH!!
Just call the VA and ask for a copy. If the VA has made a decision, you have to wait 19 days to request a fax from them of their decision. That's what I did. I had my proposed ratings before my PEBLO knew.
Ok, so my PEBLO just told me she is not authorized to release my proposed ratings from the VA per my case worker in the IPEB office.
Can anyone provide info on this?
I requested my PEBLO provide me guidance or an instruction that states she cannot provide me proposed ratings. So I am waiting to hear back on that one. I am sure she is not in any hurry..
Lulu, if you call the VA (yeah, i know, it takes forever. just use their callback service) and tell them that your dog ate your mail and you cant read it and you would like your info faxed. I know two different people that have done this with great success! (borat voice)
I am so frickin excited right now!!! My PEBLO just called and said my results are in. Obviously she can't tell me over the phone, but I have an appointment at 1300 to get them. She did say I will be medically retired and these are the best results she has seen since Jan!!!!
My migraines are only at a temporary rating. So I will have to be reevaluated in 18 months.
I am super happy! I am now trying to find out the pay stuff. Can anyone tell me if I should push for an exception to policy to be retired under TERA or just keep it as is? Anyone know how the pay will work out? I am married with 2 kids. Any help would be great!!!

Congrats on your findings/ratings. I'm pretty sure TERA is out the window in terms of options. I've uploaded the 2014 Compensation & Benefits Handbook, it should help you a bit determining your pay. Look at page 25 specifically.
