I have been in the Air Force going on 11 yrs.
Through the past 6 yrs I have been on a profile if not for one thing it's another.
I have had 1 wrist surgery on my primary writing hand, every once in a while i have pain that tends to leer its head around.
In the past two years I have been diagonised pre diabetes, and possible asthama along with that I have had two knee surgeries.
One for torn miniscus and the other for nerve damage, the one that I can not overcome....TONS of PAIN.
Just the other week I tried to complete my PT test, I was unable to complete due to extreme knee pain.
As I stated I have two surgeries 18 weeks of physical therapy all split up in 6 weeks session through out the 2 two years.
I went to the UCC the other day and the doc told me that I should be put me through a MEB or have a permanent profile of no running for fitness exam, permenent bike test and permenent physical therapy.
With all my past history what are my chance of getting MEB'ed.
I know my docs have been avoiding it cause of my possible asthama and diabetes. with the on set of me not being able to compliy with fitness regs cause of my knee what are my chance?
I would really dont care now if I get out, since I have already had 4 job offers making for than what i get now....i do still have 4 yrs left on my enlistment.
What are the things that they might throw at me (all opitions)?
I work PMEL so work is not hard, I just cant complete the run cause of major knee pain and in the new Air Force fitness program you must be able to complete the 1.5 mile run.
advice please.
What should i expect?
If they start an the MEB process which I am 99.9% sure that they will, what do i need to do?
