So I have finally received my findings. You can view them below in my signature.
I am not really happy with the DOD rating. I had a mental health addendum submitted for the board to consider as well as my left knee which was my original unfitting condition. The board did not concur with the VA percentage (even though the VA gave a 70%). It is what it is.
I will take my severance pay and close this chapter of life and move on. As much as I would love to stick around and fight for 30% or higher on the DOD side, I have an excellent opportunity that comes with a pretty high start out salary for just transitioning out of the Marine Corps. There is a timestamp on the offer however, so I am not going to jeopardize losing it by pulling my hair out with the government for 4 to 6 more months. Enough damage has been done for now.
I do have a couple of other conditions to add onto my VA claim however, so I am hoping that the process will go smoothly and bump up my VA percentage up to 100%.
Any questions or comments are more then welcome. Especially if anyone has any insight on the process of receiving an EAS date ASAP (like sooner the 3 weeks they keep saying it'll take) or changing what MMSR-4 decides.
