Hello everyone and thanks in advance. I'm 100% PnT and have just applied for expedited SSDI. Wondering if anyone knows the time frame for expedited SSDI? And do all SSDI applications require an in court hearing? First time applying.
Are you rated 100%?How does one apply for expedited. I applied online and have to send in documentation. Is there an extra step for it being expedited?
Yes you will be re evaluated. Make sure you keep seeing your doctors and keep medical documentation. It doesn’t show Permanent and Total. I definitely learning a lot about this process. It’s crazy how someone can be put on PDRL but not be P&T. So I assume I will be re-evaluated as well once I’m officially discharged?
If applying over the phone, you have to mention it to them and they will route it that way. But even if you don't, they'll know it once they are gathering your medical records. One of the places you'll give them access to should be the VA records. Dont worry, if you are PnT, they'll know it and will automatically be expedited. You could also call SS and mention it to them. They'll look up your application. How does one apply for expedited. I applied online and have to send in documentation. Is there an extra step for it being expedited?
