I was wondering if anyone can provide somewhat of a breakdown or explanation of the MEB process specifically for the reserve components.
I am in the Army National Guard and was referred to a fitness for duty evaluation. The provider there said he was recommending me as "unfit" and that I would be going to the board. Then was given a paper where I could choose to take the immediate separation or elect to go enter the PDES. I am wanting to elect to enter the PDES but I am not sure how all of this works.
Will I receive a NARSUM from the fitness for duty evaluation? Or is that something that happens in the next stages of the PDES? Just trying to better comprehend how all of this works and what to expect so that I can go into this process as knowledgable as possible.
