Does the fact that you only have one kidney now make you unfit for duty? If the Air Force says so, then they will apply the VA disability percentage for it. Call the office of the Airmans Counsel once your MEB is initiated. They are the AF lawyers who help out Airmen going through an MEB...

Thanks for the reply Mike. My PEBLO told me to expect 6-9 months for results to come back. I think she is just being ultra conservative. My MEB attorney said more like 3-6 months.

I just requested an impartial review because of this issue. The reviewer agreed with me. I went from 1 referred condition to 6.

I've been wondering the same thing as well.

I was referred to the MEB for a Vetebral Artery Dissection.......the dissection caused multiple strokes and now I have a weak arm and a weak leg and constant headaches. Would all all of those conditions be considered as residuals to the referred condition? I'm assuming they would be unfitting...
