as far as entire anklyosis of the entire thoracolumbar spine.... I got a 50% rating for that and I just have pain and ROM issues. I had a spinal fusion at c-6 c-7 which was a seperate rating, but if you stop at the point of pain (the slightest bit) you will have no problem being rated good!!

Not to burst your bubble, but I believe if you calculate your ratings using the VASRD your VA % is only 66% which would be rounded to 65 or 70. and if the DoD only gacve you the 40 and 30, that rating is only 58% which would be rounded to 60% Now unless you have other conditions that is what...

What base are you at?

Forward flexion has to be 15 degrees or less to get the 30% rating... you had pain at 28 so your forward flexion is 28 degrees
