I actually already have 50% with VA. I was at 20% with VA when I got out and I submitted a claim to have them raise it 5 years ago.

ChefSal-- so if my 10% gets increased to 20%, I won't see any additional pay? Not even the additional severance pay that I would have gotten if I would have originally been rated at 20%. Thanks!!

Basically what I am asking... you got your orders 3 months after getting your decision letter. When you got your orders, did you have to send something back? What do you have to do after getting your orders. How long have you been waiting on DFAS for your payment?

Isn't it the combination of the DoD and the VA? 4 years ago when I got my 20% from the VA, my monthly payments went up. I used to get around $500 a month
