SGT Roppel I received 81K before tax and 56K after tax. You are taxed @ 26% at the Fed Level and then taxed again @ the State level.

Once you get your 214 you can submit it to VA. As you know you will not get paid until the VA get the DA 214. My leave began on 14 Aug 12 - 2 Nov 12. I turned my DA 214 in on I believe 10 Aug 12.

SPC Reagin I am @ a post in Hawaii, but my paperwork went to Ft Lewis. I signed my DA 199 19 Jul , my last day in the army 19 Sep I start clearing 25 Jul - 13 Aug 12

After I signed my DA 199 it took me 14 days to get my orders. My paperwork went to Ft Lewis also. Peblo does not control when you receive orders. APDA is the one who tell transition when to cut orders. I got 10 days of clearing and two days for transition.

I talked to my counsel on 2 Jul and he asked how many leave days I have, I told him 85. Second question how many days did i sell during my 12 yrs. 45 or 50. I had a date for 19 Sep 12 to exit the army. My new day to leave the army is 19 Dec 12. I start clearing on 25 Sep 12 and my leave start 14...

I received mines in 14 days, Once you agree to the PEDS finding you have 90 days to exit the army.
