I am in for any type of class action lawsuit. Rock40...thanks for leading the way! I am in the same situation Rock with going to exams over a year ago and not getting any information on the results. When I do complain to my VELO (yeah, mine a changed a few times too!), I get some answer that the...
Just to get feedback on member's thoughts about the company Ivan Walks and Associates (IWA). As a servicemember on TDRL for the past 3 years, I have personally been involved with IWA who acts as my Veteran Liason Officer or "VELO" . Here are some of the questions that I have about their...
Tracking...Roger. This process for me started a little over 5 years ago with my VA claim letter. The past 3 years on TDRL at 70%...patience is the key with knowledge of what is occuring as you have stated so often on your posts.
Thanks for your asistance helping out all the newbees with the...
Grizz,
VA medical coverage for 5 years following discharge for all SM's. If a claim percentage is awarded, VA for life with the priority system in effect....1 being the highest. Now, that is just for the SM. If TDRL/PDRL then tricare in effect which gives the family benefits.
He will continue to drill as normal. The MEB process will take some time (1 to 2 years) the TDRL for up to 5 years. He will not lose anything and hopefully he will be rated above 30%. It is a "win-win" situation for medicals benefits over 30%. It is a long process...patience and knowledge is...
I have been reading and came across the pre-stabilizatio discussion... Jason's response on this thread answered a a part of my question(s)
"I have seen it happen many times. I have also seen many times where the member was separated with less than 30%. It all depends on the facts of the case...
I also was approved for 40% CRSC. The VA rating being increased over 50% total could help my finances because of CDRP. Any ideas on how to get the VA moving on my appeal? I call the 800-827-1000 number every few months and speak to someone but the person I need to speak to is the DRO out of...

Yes understood. Looking at a TDRL Lawyer to employ...not sure to do so now or take a "wait and see" approach based on the move that the DOA takes with the TDRL Re-exam results/decision. Anyways, told it will cost in the 10-15k ballpark upfront for a tdrl lawyer. My goal is to keep the TDRL...
Thanks Grizz13 for the support. I actually did contact a TDRL attorney and I am in the process of setting up his services just in case the TDRL Outcome is lower than I should expect...so I can react in a rational manner in the 10 day appeal timeframe.
pittpan2005...
