Sorry for the late reply, I received my orders today, only took a week. Official Retirement date is 28 Jul, with leave, my retirement ceremony will be on the 16th.

Luckily, they gave me con leave the entire time so I didn't have to fight the picc line or wound vac with the uniform. I had a constant drip from a pressurized ball, it was a pain and always in the way!

The VA verbally told my peblo about my ratings on friday 4 Apr, it was in their system electronically on 9 Apr, and my disposition is dated 11 Apr. Things went very fast, no one knows why though. I was at the VA for over 150 days, maybe they were making up lost time!

Spoke with my peblo again, Air Force IPEB recieved my ratings on wednesday, and she said that lately it is only taking about 3 weeks from the time they receive it to send official notification to the peblo.

So I have the best PEBLO, she called me yesterday and told me unofficially, (via a phone call from my VA MSC) that I will be getting 50% DOD and 90% VA (My E-Bennies just changed on Monday, IPEB hasnt recieved my ratings back yet). Now I just need the IPEB to hurry up, so I can see it on paper!

What about a dity move? You can hire local help for packing and loading a u-haul through household goods, and then they will just reimburse for the cost of moving your stuff.

Absolutely! Depending on your peblo, they can see your ratings, technically they are not supposed to give them to you until the IPEB is done though. As soon as my peblo can see them I will let you know, as well as how long the IPEB is taking.
