IDES Timeline

Spoke with my PEBLO, the last time he got the report was the 10th which stated I've been with the MO for 49 days. PEB started reviewing my case 23AUG. Might be a dumb question but I'm assuming they don't count holidays / weekends?

I asked for an update and my attorney asked if I had heard anything from my PEBLO, and of course my response was no. Her response was well then there’s nothing to update you on!!! We used to have 14 PEBLOs, now we have 5. Wait your time. End of convo…..

my new theory to why they slowed back down is that they got mad that we talk to each other and call their bullshit and take it to our congressmen , so they’re punishing us. and they know they’ll get away with it because there’s no consequences for them or anyone holding them accountable

Fuck I hope that's not the case, it's suppose to be non bias.

Well there's always that but it may actually be that they're finally transitioning to that new system they've been saying in every congress response since like Sept. Maybe that's why no systems have been update and reports sent out. Or maybe they just suck donkey dick.
maybe who knows, all i know is that they have well exceeded timelines set in their DOD manual and no one seems to care even a little‍. i’d be more willing to hearing they’re backed up, if they actually were nice about it and didn’t get mad at us for wondering about our own lives

What’s the new system they are trying to do?

the people in this forum have done much more for me than them! And provided factual data such as the spreadsheet leak. Whoever pays to operate this website, thank you for what you do, I hope this remains for the next folks to find for many a year to come. Let this place become infamous, it's not like they can do anything about it. If you're a PEBLO or narc snooping around here and reading this; go do your effing job and maybe there wouldn't be a forum of us unionizing to call you out on your lackluster job. Sorry to inconvenience you while you withhold information and mess with human's lives.

Any of you guys do a dependent claim through va.gov? I got my proposed ratings but it didn't have dependents on my award amount. I submitted a dependent claim to maybe add them and hope to see the paragraph about chapter 35 benefits on my new proposed ratings letter.
My Dependent claim was done with all my other claims. Did you get married/have kids after the claim was submitted through you VA MSC?

Nope, my MSC is just trash and never did that. All he did was my claims and even then, he never sent the VA my claims forms, only input the claim and conditions. I had to send the signed forms myself.
I can give you a number to a texas VA office and she can guide you on how to add a dependent through the Online VA.gov website or eBenefits. Ill PM you with the number and extension.

I submitted a dependent claim with all the required docs, I just don't know if it will stay open like the other one or be closed out and the proposed ratings updated
Im sure that she can and would be more than willing to answer that question.

Retirement orders just came in. Looks like my retirement date is January 29th, but I'm trying to figure out if that's a no-later-than date. If so, I'd like to retire a little earlier, maybe the 26th or 27th, just to make sure I start receiving disability pay on March 1st instead of April 1st.

Overall timeline:
June 2: Sent to PEB
July 9: Package moved to Medical Officer
November 8: Unfit findings
November 17: Received retirement orders
January 29: PDRL date

Thanks for coming back! It’s nice to see what the timeline looks like after findings, cause the lord knows our PEBLOs don’t tell us.
