now I'm just waiting to see that happens I don't draw anything from the army side of the house my Va is more. so I guess they will do there crazy math skills and send me a bill my luck !!! my VA is 80% but im 100% P&T. my army rating was 80% so now I have a CRSC rating of 80%

Well, CRSC will restore some of your PDRL/TDRL pay.

Maximum 80% CRSC for a Single, no spouse or children Vet is 1,525.25.

So whatever you are currently not getting from your PDRL/TDRL pay due to the offset you have, you can get most, if not all of that back - PLUS your VA compensation.

The most you will get is EITHER what you are not receiving from your PDRL/TDRL pay due to offset, OR, up to the MAX CRSC rate IF your PDRL/TDRL pay offset is GREATER than your MAX CRSC rate.

CRSC can be no greater than your YOS retirement figure.

I'm not drawing any PDRL/TDRL pay. all im getting is my VA and social security pay.

I'm assuming he doesn't get his DoD pay because his VA is greater than his DoD pay.

BUT, if he reads my first post, I wrote that CRSC will restore some, most or all of his DoD pay - pay he doesn't currently receive.

yes I got a letter from the army on the CSRC 80% granted. yes I waived my Army retirement because VA was greater. I will read the link posted

It can take awhile.

But you should receive a notification of change of benefits - it's a retiree-type, LES formatted paper.

You will get it by snail mail from DFAS.

It will also be posted on your MYPAY account as soon as DFAS does their calculations and adds it into your retirement pays (VA, TDRL or PDRL).

Sometimes the MYPAY data will populate on their computer system sooner than when you get your statement of changes from them by snail mail.

That's why I suggest you keep checking your MYPAY retiree account as sometimes you can know a few more days ahead of time what's happening (or going to happen) sooner than snail mail.

You can also print stuff out on MYPAY, too.

Let us know when you get or find something out.

I'm curious about how long it takes for them to get your CRSC "on the books" for pay.

What date did you get your approval for CRSC ???

mine is going backwards the army owed me 86K but they Va paid me 86K so it was a washout. I called DFAS today and they told me that no back pay would be given because I'm being paid by the VA. then I asked about my CRSC rating being 80% they are still woking on that to see if I will receive any type of payment on top of my VA pay. I draw nothing from the Army side.

CRSC application date is August 20, 2014
my retirement date is Feb 2010 ( that just got changed by the army board of corrections )

army rating 70%
Va rating 80% but I'm P&T getting paid 100% UI
CRSC 80%

all of my ratings are from combat from Iraq


im betting I get nothing

ok DFAS has updated my CRSC statement last month I got $ 762.00? on the 1St of the month. my CRSC payment is 350.00 a month. now my CRSC start date is march 01 2010. does that mean I get back pay ????

80% rating
 
70/100 is a huge improvement over 0/100. Congrats.

Now I am curious.....

You are currently receiving 700+ per month for CRSC.

But your retro is only at 350 per month for your CRC.

Why is that - do you know?

350 a month but I will need to call them they have me single with no kids. I guess the 762.50 was a back payment no the paperwork goes back to the VA and the VA will pay me from what DFAS said.

they go off of you last VA rating letter date
