MEB AFTER 3.5 YEARS OF DISCHARGE

Update on my case from ABCMR, I received orders in the mail yesterday, did not get a DD 214. I did get instructions about ID cards, setting up a dfas account with an RSO. I wonder if I will get a new updated DD 214/215??

I was also legacy, not ides.

Admin seperation due to non LOD. I wrote the board in 2012, got orders from the army yesterday in the mail. Discharge effective 19 May 2006 at 50% pdrl. E7 19 yrs 16 days (Base Pay) / with 11 yrs 7 months 10 days active (LOS)

All combat related

All right; indeed congratulation on being positively proactive! :)

Now, it's time to enjoy the benefits of your hard work for sure! ;)

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

UPDATE !!!! I have retirement orders !!! they backed dated them to FEB 28, 2010.. all combat related I as rated at 70% by the army.. 100% VA now I'm dealing with RSO trying to fill out a 2656. they are talking about back pay I have no idea how I started drawing 60% VA in Dec 2008 then moving to 100% P&T in 2011. so I don't know how this will work. my PEBLO said that I mite get back from 2010 till now or 2008 to now.. no idea !! my VA is more than my Army retirement pay

ok as of today the DA 2656 starts the my DFAS process for any back payment I have a RSO that doesn't have a clue. Dang I'm so lost I was on the phone today for 3 hours and that's all that I have found out. on 2656 it asked the Amount that I was drawing from the VA at the time of discharge in 2010. I was 60% getting $ 1754.00 a month. I asked about that they told me to read the paperwork at time of discharge. well in 2011 I went to 100% P&T. so I have no idea. the SBP will run me $ 126.00 a month me and my wife talked about that and that's a little high for us. so we turned it down. life insurance policy is cheaper. anyway with having back dated orders I would start out with 6K debt to them.

the question I have is how can they back pay me when I already drawing VA ??? hmmm ABCMR said I was due back payment....... also my RSO told me this process can take 30-90 days to find out anything !! just more BS !!!

Well, indeed, congratulations on your forward progress for sure! :)

That said, please continue to be positively proactive and all shall be okay at the end of the day in my opinion! Take care!

ok we turned down the SBP pay.. for 126 a month they said that they would back date that we would owe 6K back payment. we can get a life insurance policy cheaper... still no information on back pay !!! on the 2656 they ask at time of discharge what was your VA rating mine was 60% so I went with it. but a year later it went to 100%... but I went with 60% trying not to make harder that it already is... and yes I called and asked about my getting 100% was told not to make it harder than it sounds... I was discharge under the national guard so I guess I will not be getting a DD214 I just have a set of paper orders right now... will update when I get more information
may 2008 60% army
feb 26, 2010 discharge national guard Army 70%
june 2011 Va went to 100% P&T

now trying to apply for CSRC

well no update on my CRSC been near 100 days now. not for sure how its going to work, army was 70% VA is 100% only 4 years of active duty. so HMMMMM still waiting been a long road

Hmm, have you contacted the CRSC approval authority to make an inquiry as to the status of your CRSC application at this point? ;)

As such, it seems a little excessive in referencing to the CRSC application processing time in my opinion!

yes I have called CRSC and was told 60-120 working days.. I haven't started school or anything yet. I was waiting on the CRSC then may start school in the spring. I have no idea if I will get the CRSC payment or not. I just had more national guard time. some people get it and some don't.

Okay, wow; that's good information to know in reference to the CRSC application processing times at this point!

Indeed, if there isn’t any active CRSC application on file then definitely there isn't any opportunity for a CRSC application approval! ;)

ok I got the CRSC approval letter today mailed Nov 10.2014 they rated me at 80% so now a copy of that was sent to DFAS and it could be 60-90 days before I find anything out. they didn't give a dollar amount or anything just my rating for all my combat injuries and everything was covered under war. so now I wait again. and yes I have been checking DFAS ever few days

just a update
