Prep for Decision?

Hey all,
Does anyone know the approximant completion times for each of different status of the VA Claim? For instance when a claim goes into the preparation for decision phase is there an average time for completion? Just getting impatient, wife I pregnant and heading back to TX leaving me in CA to wait for my claim to finish so I can separate. I called the VA and the woman I talked to said my package was in the Pending Decision Approval Phase so was just trying to get a ballpark to ease my wife and my own frustration.
 
You and I have very similar timelines. I just called the VA today and was told that I am in the pending decision phase. My MSC told me to call back around the first week of September for ratings. I know that doesn't help too much but have you tried calling your MSC?
 
Thank you for the response. I have talked to my MSC and his response is always something along the lines of… I have briefed you on the IDES timeline already here is a copy of the pamphlet with the breakdown. Trying not to be impatient it’s just hard to plan for my wife and unborn child when I’m running blind lol.

I got my MSC and PEBLO Mixed up. My MSC just Points me back to my Peblo when I ask anything.
 
Do you know what day they found you unfit? From what my MSC/PEBLO said you should start to expect ratings 4 weeks from that day.

I was told unofficially on the 28th so hopefully soon ;). Honestly even if what your mac said isn't true I makes me feel better lol ty
 
hay guys my claim also went into pending approval phase as of this morning, ill get with my PEBLO shes really good about this stuff tomorrow and ill let you know if i find anything out, if you guys could keep me in the loop of any info you guys get as well id be thankful!

Will do.. Got an e-mail from the va today in response to an information request I sent in like 2 weeks ago stating that... I attached the e-mail

I am in San Diego. If you're there at Balboa, email Chief Drake. My claim timeline is right in line with yours. I was informed the VA finished their ratings on 22 August and sent it to the PEB so the DoD could do their ratings. He said it should be 1-2 weeks before I have my DA-199 to review and sign.

From there, it should be smooth sailing.

I'm at TPU on 32nd street if you want to chat tomorrow or some time this week.

Unfortunately I am up in Camp Pendleton, but I will keep you posted. I received a reply to my question, I ask if my package had been forwarded to the DoD or if it is still pending.. They answered;
“Your Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES) claim is presently Ready for a Decision (RFD) and when that decision has been made it will be forwarded to the Physical Evaluation Board (PEB) for review and action.”
So that’s where I’m at, at the moment.
 
Where is your PEBLO at? Balboa or Camp Pendleton?

Call the PEBLO at 619-532-6109 and speak with him and see if he can dig into your VA claim

It's being done through CPen. And my PEBLO will wait till they contact him to tell me anything. So just gotta wait :) ty for the info, keep me posted and ill do the same
 
so what I found out today is that the MEB has found me unfit for my conditions and now it is being transferred to the VA to get the correct ratings that they assessed them to be at. My Peblo, and MSC both said it can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to get ratings back down to me, once that happens I can accept or fight
 
Just was informed that I received my ratings. Going to review them in an hour or so.

Redforman, you should have yours soon as well!!!
 
Congratulations, how many issues did you have reviewed? And when did your package get sent?

Super stoaked, that gave me a light at the end of the tunnel... now what? I guess I just wait then :)

I had 23. 13 were rated, the other 9 were rated 0% and 2 were dismissed.

My package was sent to the PEB on 22 August. Went from review of evidence to preparing a decision on 20 August and then to Pending Decision on 22 August.

Give it about a week. You should hear something either next week or the following.
