Forecast Your Ratings Date - For Seattle

Well that seems to be all over the map. For me it took 18 days to get my 199 after my ratings were complete. Now I'm on a new countdown, waiting to show up on TRANSPOC.

Per my PEBLO today, "After I get your ratings back, you have 10 days to tell me good or not. If good a message will be cut within 3-10 days that will allow u to out process. If u nonconcur the time frames change."

This weeks update.

The average decreased this week, but the number of cases in the system has increased. Based on current trends there is likely a flattening of the trendline unless there are changes to Seattle's output. Even though the percentage of cases over 125 days has decreased, this is reflective of the increased number of cases rather that a reduction of overdue cases.

Without knowing the standard deviation, it is reasonable to conclude that 120-180 days will likely cover the vast majority. If the VA published their std deviation data I could be able to provide a better range and a confidence level.

I just wanted to add my information and experiences to this thread. I do not know why mine went so fast, but I was about half the time of the IDES dashboard expectation. Hopefully, everyone else who is waiting is greeted with the same success. Check my signature for my timeline so far.

Can you update this weeks forecast rating trends. Thanks

Updated.

The number of days has essentially flat-lined. The average days went up slightly. The case load is also level.

Based on the last 2-months it seems that the overtime program was the primary force behind the reduction the case load. If the VA is still targeting 2015 to meet its goal then it will need to either continue overtime or hire more case workers.

O course they flatlined. Shinseki cut their overtime right before Christmas and is turning it back on right after.
I have written about this subject in the past; I am still baffled by it.

shenseki? must be a big wig at the VA (don't really care to look), either way that name sounds like a disease or some type of mushroom

Shenseki is the general that got us our berets so we would be more like other armies around the world, and the guy that Pres Obama keeps spanking to get VA caught up.

He's supposed to get all the backlogged 125+ days old claims caught up by 2015(?).
QUESTION HERE!!
Isn't anything over 15 (fifteen, yes, 10+5=15 days) days old considered to be backlogged???

CMJames, silly you.

cutting their overtime during the holidays is the right thing to do, even though it sucks for us because, we want to be done and move on with out lives giving those raters some good time off might just get them working better and faster when they get back. It's like before I was broke I could take 2 weeks to rest my body on leave and come back and score great on a pt test. have faith

Mixed bag, overtime was "light", while the extra pay would of been nice for your average gs-5 level employee. Shane is speaking from that point of view, not the time from family point of view, as they will still recieve the same holiday time as other non essential employees, and at no point except potentially October was leave denied. Hopefully yes it helps them to have a breather, but they were just barerly "catching up" so now they go into the holiday leave period with more cases stacking up.

So on their side, they get 1 extra hour a day with family, but less holiday spending money

on our side, we get longer in limbo, more stress over the holidays waiting for our claims, no clue if we should spend money on holiday gifts or not, if we are gonna be unemployed in a week a day a month etc. In my case my spouse cannot work because I cannot stay home alone with our infant, and day care would negate anything she would make. So yes, I am not "angry" that they get to spend time with their family, but I see the downside for them and the downside for those of us still waiting in limbo.

Qhats This IRIS i keep seeing here how can I get a hold of em ???

It was too bad this Thread died off. If someone would have looked at the current trend it is out of control. I pull the new numbers since the start of the year, and just the Number of Days has went from 146.1 to 168. If anyone would like a new chart please let me know.
