It's in the electronic system, it can take up to 30 days after the prelim ratings were finished for the PEB to review the packet. Be patient, you'll either get the ratings info in the mail or a call very shortly!

Seattle is averaging 154.5 days! Can't wait till Monday to see it drop some more!
I've waited this long:
Claim received by VA - 149 days
Unfit Memo date - 116 days

Signed my 199 today. 50% army 90% va. I wasn't expecting a retirement at all. I would have taken the severance to payoff my debt. Well I'll just pay it off the slow way. Retirement is better for my family's well-being. Plus its great having a check for the rest of my life (so long as the economy doesn't crash and I'm not looking forward to the next shutdown and when we eventually default on our nations debt). But hey at least I'm almost done with the IDES

Congrats!! It's always good to hear about a pleasant surprise. It looks like things went fast after the VA completed their part. My ratings were completed on the 30th, so I am hoping I will hear something next week. This is encouraging.

I'm sure it is nice to know the end of this process is near.

I will be fast. It took 10 days for my 199 to come back after my claim completed. So you're right behind me. My unfit was my left knee so you can see why I was surprised

What number did you call for the VA in Seattle?

TGV, I'm jealous. Congratulations and good luck in your future. Hopefully, I'm not far behind.

I'd suggest that you do an IRIS inquiry on the VA website. Post an update when you get a reply.

Referred 4/5/13
Unfit Memo/Sent to Seattle VA 6/26/13

The info I got on the new site today says 225 days remaining, as well. The ebenefits site hasn't changed since they got all of my paperwork - still says reviewing evidence.

I just learned about the VSOs and applied to that today. Haven't been able to reach my PEBLO.

My biggest bone of contention is why the VA sets itself (and us) up for failure by saying the average or "goal" for VA Ratings is 15 days. Especially when the average is 140+.

Welcome to the PEB Forum! :)

Indeed, it seems that the DoVA estimations didn't account for the projected DoVA claims backlog for sure!

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

The days remaining is the sum of all the Army averages after the current phase you are in. Everyone in the VA rating phase should show 222 for Active Duty. Guard and Reserves may be different though.

It's really not a good number to broadcast. It should at a minimum add in the delta for the current phase too.

I'm 144 days ahead of schedule and waiting for VA for 116...hmm. One day at a time, Sweet Jesus...
The numbers are getting fuzzier every day, losing meaning.
When ratings can come at any day between 2 months and 15...
I'm just going to keep going till my number gets called.

So I recieved my Unfit memo on 1 July, 2013 and am still waiting on raitings. On the ebenfits site, it has been stuck on review of evidence for 122 days now. THis is frustrating to me especially when I see people who recieved their unfit memo almost 20 or more days after mine and are already ahead of me. I do not understand this at all. Can anyone enlighten me???

Welcome to the PEB Forum! :)

Indeed, it's a frustrating situation, but for sure your DoVA proposed ratings are forthcoming!

Wow! Congratulations; hmm, definitely an unexpected positive outcome indeed! :D

To that extent, enjoy your forthcoming military disability retirement to include your post-military endeavors!

Nice play on words

Well that's a fine how do you do. I logged onto ebenefits this morning and see that my case was went from Preparation for Decision (07/19/2013) and has jumped back to Gathering of Evidence (11/01/2013) and under Items, it has Central Texas VAMC
WTF???? November 1st was also when I hit 120 days
