my full va comp. I got no retirement either. Only 898.00 from VA. I should get 1844. I called and they said they are holding it. I know my retirment stops, but why didnt i get my full 1844??

have you checked to see if DFAS got your VA waiver? if not then the VA wont pay you your full pay just offset! Probably should contact DFAS in see if they received it and what date! because if the received it after the date they process retirement payments you should still get retirement pay for this month

You received the differential back pay for the last X amount of months, the difference from your retirement pay and the VA benefit. You should be receiving the differential back pay for September 1-18 and full benefit for September 19-30 anytime. It takes a few days to get it straightened out.

Yes I have received that on sept 17.
So the VA sent me a email to tell me where my claim is at. I am confused by this and need clarification. I emailed te VA back and asked to be clearer with this information so hopefully I get this back soon. This is all he sent me.

Wow that was quick he already got back to me. This seems like good news.
Normally what this means is that the decision is completed. The PEB has
to accept the findings from the VA and then notify you and discharge you
as appropriate, IE retired list or Severance pay. Nothing that you need
to do; however, contact your PEBLO, and see if they have the decision
for you to see.

I emailed them first. I try to call at the end of the week to see if there was any updates. Because of the "gov shutdown" I sent a email in and they got back to me real quick. I just went and checked with my peblo and they can't see anything as far as ratings are concerned.
How did you send them an email? Is there a specific spot somewhere on the website that gives you a link to send an email?
I am going to give the number I called at the end if this post. I called a after several attempts I was able to talk to a representative. He was really helpful and I also asked for his email. By all means its trying at times but I fell better when I get any information regarding my case. He told me to contact my peblo which I did and he has no new information and that nothing changed in my claim. Four other people recived the same info on Monday and only 1 changed in the system. Hope this can be some assitance.

Finally signed my 199 on Tuesday. Now I think I'm stuck because of this shut down. Well at least I'm happy with my rating and the fact that I finally got to sign my 199.
