99th RSC Ft. Dix.
Ha you make me laugh, that is also my RSC and let me tell you brother they need a swift kick in the tail to get moving... use the IG if you get grief. Also know that the 99ths Med section can complete the DA 7475-1 and your unit must complete the DA 7475 monthlies and kick them up to the 99th.

That's why I love this board. I learned something too, I can pass on in the future. Thanks Shane.

I'm currently in the MEB/PEB process (IDES). On Ebenefits it says the VA received everything on August 6th 2013. I was found unfit at the tail end of July 2013. On September 10th 2013 my claim moved to the PREPARATION FOR DECISION Phase. I called the VA 800 number for the first time, and all the guy could tell me was that my claim is in the rating phase. Any ideas of how long until I receive my proposed ratings, and 199?

I'm trying to be patient, but my unit is not making it easy, AT ALL.

We are on about the same timeline, my packet went to VA on 31 July and accepted blah blah (VA 800 number gave me) a date of 6 August that they had and are tracking, the latest update I received was that I was also in the rating phase waiting for rating review team, that was almost 3 weeks ago, I haven't heard anything since even with communicating with my team. I am being as patient as well as I can and I know all about Units not making it easy on you. It was like as soon as they knew I was going through an MEB I was kicked out of my department and I was asked to clear my personal items off my desk and know I sit in a little whole in the wall closet next to the blasting chamber in the University where I work, doesn't work so well for my PTSD. Doing the best I can and being as patient as I can, be patient and continue to work hard and you can still be recognized as a great member of a team. I am holding onto the hope that we can get some action on our packets before this possible shutdown, the process takes long enough more so in other cases. Best of luck for us all to get through the processes.

Many Blessings.

How about BAH & BAS?

On 1 December I should start receiving DOD pay right?

@ebrown looking at your time like it took about 2 weeks to get your orders, correct? I have like 57 days of leave and I know my CO will approve the 20 days PDTY.

Has anyone had their eBenefits not change at all? I mean no estimated completion date, no movement from the first time I logged in. I know everyone says that ebenfits can't be trusted, but I am just curious if anyone else has been waiting on ratings for almost 60 days and seen no movement anywhere. It's stuck on "gathering of evidence"- evidence requested is past due. Thanks in advance.
Mine has not changed or been updated sense June 6th.

Wow just got a Call from my PEBLO I am 90% Army and 100% VA... and it all only took 1 year from MEB Initiated.

All right, congratulations; it's your time now! :)

Indeed, positive thinking yields positive results; enjoy your post-military endeavors! ;)

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

Out of curiosity, has anyone else received a phone call from DOD IDES for a survey about the process?

Unfortunately, no for me! :(

Hmm, I wish it was because if so..."it's clobbering time!" ;)

By the way, Welcome to the PEB Forum! :)

It was weird because it showed up DOD IDES on the caller ID so of course I answered. Then I was asked when was the best time for them to schedule the "interview". I was hoping it was because maybe my ratings are done, but no such luck I guess. I will post again after this so called interview to let you know what all is being asked.

Oh man, if I ever got that call... People would have been fired, regs changed, and communication would be a two way street...

Indeed, albeit it's interesting that the DoVA is potentially reaching out to the "customer" for opinionated feedback about the DoD IDES process...hmm!

I have trying to figure this out and I could use some help. All hypothetical talk; if I was to get out 100% VA and maxed the DOD combat related as a E8 with 18 years of service what would my pay look like. Thank for the help.

(301) 251-6761

That's the number that called if you all want to give them a buzz!

They called me but I didn't get to the phone fast enough to answer it. Damn wish I would have moved a little quicker, had I known it was for an IDES survey.
