I tried to call the number back off my phone and it didn't do anything it waited a few seconds and then hung up.

Meb started March 2013. Narsum complete on May 12th, Unfit on May 21st. Received ratings on Sept 26 2013. 10% DOD 80% VA. I will wait 10 days to sign 199. Called transpoc and they told me seperation date would be Dec 24th if i signed today. I asked if I could stay active duty until 15 December beacuse I have a 9th grader and a 7th grader and would hate to take them out of school before Holiday break. I would like to start my leave after the 90 day window. She told me as long as an O6 signs off on it I should be good. I work with my O6 directly as im in the radiology field. He is a doctor and have a good rapport. Does anyone know if this is possible under my kids family circumstances. would hate to use my leave here in Hawaii and then go home during the holidays with nothing to fall back on. All asnswers are appreciated. Also i have already sold 60 days of leave so I have to take my 45 days plus PTDY 30 days for overseas

You can delay separation due to children's schooling as long as your CoC approves. It's actually pretty simple to delay it, all you need to do is have your PEBLO take you off the TRANSPOC list and add you back on at a later date.
Now your last AD day is your separation date is your new ETS date. Once you start your terminal leave, you can move whenever you want. Are you living on post or off post?

I live on AMR Hawaii on post housing. So i would eventually have 6 months left before im out of the military correct? Didnt think Peblo could do that.Thanks for the reply.
 
Question: where does the pay go to? I don't remember filling out anything that says where I wanted my money to be deposited? Or is that an Ebenefits thing? Or is it just going into my DfAS (mypay) account?

It could be more, it could be less. It's different for everyone. Hey atleast your in Hawaii and not here, Fort Polk. Lol
 
Mabelg89, you should have filled out a direct deposit form when you first saw the MSC in BJACH...I'm at Polk also :(

You can fill out the direct deposit off ebenefits for your VA pay!

It automatically goes to the account MyPay is set up for, it converts with DFAS.
 
Claim closed today - hopefully ratings this week, unless the shutdown affects the process.

Good point I know the commissary will be closed on the first, that's what they told my wife. I hope the VA keeps working. Oh boy here we go, hurry up and wait at its best.
 
My claim went from Preparation for a Decision on 09/18/13 to Gathering of Evidence-"Separation Documents Requested" as of 09/28/13. Does that mean I have my percentages? I'm quite confused.

Have you separated from the service yet? If you have you need to scan your DD-214 into E-bennies.

No I'm still active duty and have yet to sign my 199. That's why I'm so confused. Haven't even gotten my preliminary ratings yet either. Next to "Requested Separation Documents" the due date for them is 10/28/13

Finally I feel like doing a backflip. I at least have that! After sitting stagnant forever (got my unit April 26th). I hope I can get my 199 soon! =D thank you for your response!

Well I only recieved half of my amount. They stopped my retirement pay too. Now my allotment for my car payment wont be going through. WTF I added it up and they gave me exactly enough with my retirment to equal 1844. How come I haven't got paid?
