Wounded Warriors Around Michiana

I live in Michiana and would like to start a Michiana Wounded Warrior Group, not limited by Rank, Branch or Disabilty Percentage. I envision that we could meet every once and awhile at rotating locations, keep each other informed about Veteran Opportunities and Functions in our area and raise community awareness about local wounded warrior issues and challenges.

I'm not looking for Tea Party Politics or Politiacal Party Affiliation (ANY). This group would be a support based focus group for friendship, fellowship as wounded warrior and community awareness of issues facing area wounded warriors. If you have any interest PM me @ this Forum.

If this is not a proper use of this site Jason, I appoligize. I just feel we are stonger together than seperate and their is no commercial interest in this venture. Just individual growth within a group setting sharing resorces, challenges, experinces and fellowship with a common goal of becoming stronger in our individual lifes and community. Bravehart84

I think that is a wonderful idea and opportunity for service members to gather and offer assistance to one another through support and sharing experiences. I would definitely join a similar group if one where in my area once I am out of the service. I think it would be a wiser choice than joining my local Hells Angels chapter. lol.

I think that is a fine idea and support it. It is true that the group is stronger than the individual and any help or community shared is only a good thing.
