Will chapter 5-17 cancel out a medboard

Hi I’m new here. So I was in the process of a medboard for ptsd. I’m in class for ptsd for 35 days and afterwards is when my medboard is starting. Well I was on profile for shin splints and a new pa called me and was like we can t do anything else for your leg, you can’t get a profile for shin splints and you meet the qualifications for a medical chapter but it’s your decision but if still your 1SGT is the approving person. So I knew I was already medboard I told her no I do not want a med chapter and she said fine (medical chapter for shins splits is absurd). The next day my 1SGT (whom has an issue with me and try’s to find ways to punish me) calls me in his office and says he’s signing off on my medical chapter, as he knows I’m medboarding as well and I stated 1SGT I do not want a med chapter and he replies “it’s out of my hands” BUT the pa told me he was the approving person. So now he says I need to do phase 1. My question is will this chapter cancel out my medboard . Is there anything I can do. Or is this something I don’t need to be worried about....
