Who do you call for "orientation"?

So the board had to resend my paperwork to me as I never received it. But I don't want to wait for it to get the ball rolling. Several folks have talked about having to do basically an orientation for benefits and to sign paperwork. Who do I call to make that appointment? I appreciate any and all help!

you have to wait on the paperwork unfortunately, and wherever you separated from is where you will do your briefings and paperwork...
I.E. I got out from Hood and that's where all my new paperwork has to be done and briefings , because it's crazy they basically put you back in for the day

Is it the SBP briefing? That's the only one I had to do (so far).

Depending on how nice you are to the person you can bluff about having the paperwork that says to call them to do the SBP briefing. That is what I did. I had it done before I ever got the packet in the mail. That is also what I tell others to do. The wait to so SBP briefings can be incredibly long so why not tell a little white lie and say you got the notification to call them so you can go ahead and shedule it.
 
So wait, you have to return to the base you separated from? Sweet! That was Hawaii for me! Come on retirement! I need a vacation!

I wish that were true but no you don't have to return to your base. You'll do your SBP briefing either over the phone or at the nearest installation to you.
