I am going through an MEB, for chrons, pstd, military sexual trauma, arthritis, chronic migraines, flat feet and other joint pain. Should I file with the VAnow, or wait until my MEB is over? I'm horrified theArmy is going to give me the boot (no punintended) and I'll havenothing. I have been Guard for 17 years, and I have about 11 yearsactive. I have three LODSfor joints, and the one forthe assault.

Are you going through the IDES MEB? Or what is commonly referred to as legacy MEB? If you're going through the IDES then you don't have to worry about when to file your VA claim because it's done during the MEB. They do it that way so that if you're found Unfit that you'll leave the service with your VA claim all but done, just have to wait to be out of the service for it to finalize once they receive your official discharge.
