Good evening everyone,
I just got word from D.C. today that my completed package was sent to my PEBLO this morning. My next question is: what's next? No one seems to post the pieces of the process after rating acceptance.
Obviously I have to review and accept/appeal them, but how does separation work? Here is some background info:
-T-GPS completed a month ago
-Capstone completed 2 weeks ago
-Currently class 1 dental; class two in October.
-Apparently the VA (QTC) appointment counts for separation physical?
-Second interview with employer that needs the position filled stat (<60 days) tomorrow (24th of Sept). I really want this position. I want to properly leverage expectations without negatively impacting my chances for both the ambiguous medical separation process and being medically discharged in the first place (employer doesn't need/shouldn't ask for medical information).
I'm 100% open with explaining my situation. That's not an issue personally. I just want to be able to say "I will be signing paperwork at the end of the week and have choice of separation date" or "I will be signing paperwork at the end of the week and will be released from active duty anytime between 4-8 weeks"
How do I approach this/what is the last step in this overall process?
Thanks again for everyone in this community. It has been the most calling resource through the process.
Benjamin
