What exactly does this mean?

"Individual Unemployability was not considered as this condition was evaluated at 100 percent. Chapter 35 is not warranted at this time due to pending future exam."

I know it is a stupid question but please humor me. I do know chapter 35 benefits are for my children if I am p&t. I ask this because there is so many variations to 100% like 100 IU, 100 p%t, 100 tdiu, etc.

It looks as if you have been rated at 100% schedular, but not P&T.

I don't think I really understand what your question is, sorry.

IU is moot you are 100%.

100% is your rating level. You can be considered 100% disabled through the nature of your conditions, which you were. This is considered schedular 100%. This means they consider the nature of your conditions will significantly interfere with your ability to be employed. If you find a way around that, i.e. by having highly desirable skills or such that makes you employability despite the disabilities, it should not effect your rating. There is no acronym associated with this category.

You can be considered 100% disabled because of the combination of your abilities and the likelihood of future employment, this is individual unemployability, and this rating changes should you find a means to become employed. This doesn't apply to you. IU or TDIU is associated with this category.

Your rating level can be considered permanent, or unlikely to change. If this category is associated with either of the above categories it gets the acronym P&T. Since they scheduled a future exam, they believe your rating level has a reasonable chance of being lower, so this does not apply to you.

So if it does get better, what is the lowest my % could drop to? (say hypothetically I get reevaluated 5 years from my discharge)
